Warm welcome. Happy, helpful, friendly staff especially on front desk reception. Great for business or pleasure. Interior design high spec throughout. all reviews The staff was outstanding! despite our flight coming in late they went out of their way to make sure we were situated, followed up with the airline (who had lost our bags), calling them in the morning. the breakfast was delicious and had variety. the beds were comfortable and the rooms were new and clean. if you book through letsbookhotel.com they can arrange pick up from airport. The hotel is new, very clean and the services are very good. Excelent continental breakfast. Very friendly staff. Rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. It is a pleasure to stay at this hotel, and I am a picky person when it comes to choosing a lodging place. I wish we would have more Sonnenhof hotels in Romania!. definitely one of the best hotels i've been at. everything was amazing, from the room, to the view, to the staff and the restaurant. the room was extra clean and the bed was 2mx2m, never seen that in a hotel. if you ever get a chance to go, don't forget to try the yogurt and raspberry cake. it was sublime. Travelling during weeks through Romania and visiting more or less 3 to 5 different hotels per week, Sonnenhof is the best hotel I ever met in Romania. This was my second stay within 2 month. The staff on reception were very helpful and organised a free transfer from the airport. Although the hotel is located on a very busy road, there is a nice church on a quiet road close by that we took a walk to one evening. Restaurant was quite good. everything!! Very comfortable, new (c2011) hotel overlooking Suceava. Very well signposted, making finding it a breeze. Plenty of free parking, and food excellent(when it arrives) - see below. Be prepared to eat somewhere else, though. The hotel is new and has very good rooms with new furniture and a very modern look. The breakfast is excellent with a wide variety of products and of very good quality. The staff is very helpful in all your problems. Our third stay in this fantastic hotel. Feels like home! Super crew and all you can wish for in a 4 star hotel. + a very good restaurant and the best lemonade in Romania. The service from the employees was excellent. Reasonable food. none. No complaint. It's not very central, although the centre of town is not terribly exciting, so this is not necessarily a great disadvantage. It does mean that if you don't have a car, your dining options are limited to the hotel restaurant, however. Although it's outside the centre, there is nothing particularly charming about the setting. wish we would have stayed longer. it was our favorite hotel during our entire trip in Romania. Nothing to report. On second night of our stay the restaurant (which seats about 100) was very busy, but there appeared to be only about 3 waiters. We waited 55minutes from sitting down to being served, and then the order was wrong, so my wife had to wait a further 20 minutes for her meal. Although I complained next morning at reception, this was not taken seriously, just being shrugged off as "it was busy". It is located in the entrance of the city on E85 and is a bit far away from everything. If you don't have a car is a little difficult to move around. Nothing to mention here. In our first 2 visits we found the breakfast rather poor, but that improved in the meanwhile. Located in the outskirts of the city, quite far from the center, but it wasn't a problem for us as it is situated right on the road to Brasov, which was our goal city. I have some problems to find anything wrong in this hotel. Maybe fried eggs should be a little bit warmer - but that doesn't matter. Overall it was the best breakfast in my 7-days trip through Romania. Some meals are smaller sized than before ( schweinbrat - initially including 2 steaks and now only one ). Bed mattress is maybe to hard for my back, for such hotel you may expect some soft over mattress on top. outside the city. Nothing I can say. you need the cars for the city center. They charged my credit card without asking how I want to pay. Very much on edge of town.
