This hotel pop up first when searching for Poana Brasov hotels on letsbookhotel.com and the booking process was pretty fast. Afte the site confirmation I also recived a hotel confirmation and transaction details. I was pretty impressed by friendly personnel always willing to se4rve in the parking, reception, restaurant. Free wifi everywere, nice ambient music, and the spa is simply awesome (recommend to any guest to try it).

Although we reserved a double room, and executive room was available so they gave it to us. It was on the 9th floor, the view was beautiful. Maybe breakfast by 11:00?. A minus for: the alarm ringing in the middle of the night (I donnot undertand why do they even keep such clock alarms in the rooms, since they are so complicated that nobody ever gets to set them); the architecture of the hotel (it is the classic Romanian style of building anexes and dependencies till there is no more place to throw a niddle); the food at the restaurants of the hotel is horrible, so don't waste your money for that. A big minus for the parking place very small for this huge hotel!! I don't want to imagine this in the winter with all the skiers!!!. - Breakfast is average - Rooms are only partly refurbished - The parking is overcrowded and often insufficient if you arrive late on a Friday evening. Parking space is not as big as it should be. Under equipped gym. Bad Cigarettes smell from the lounge room, and I'm saying this as a smoker. They should air it up a little. Jacuzzi not so good. they made dificulties whem they should refund some money. Nothing!. Room was missing items on check-in, had to go and ask for each one. if the hotel is non-smoking please display in the hotel'S presentation sites. the old wing of the hotel should be renovated. due to the club located in the basement of the hotel which is open till 5 in the morning can'T fall asleep. Although, The breakfast was quite complex, it could be better. Too small room; mini bar fridge was broken; poor selection of tv channels for a winter destination; not 4 star quality bathroom and shower; no elevator access to terrace and kids play area was difficult with stroller and 2 small children. The waiting staff at restaurant was not helpful if they could not speak english and rather ignore us than get help from other waiting staff. Poor breakfast which definitely need to be improved! Rooms are old furniture and old style. The garden restaurant is incredible small and therefore you have no other alternative than to eat inside back hotel restaurant. Definitely not a hotel I'm staying in next time, especially with my family!. The employees from the reception desk and restaurant. We were first send to a room which was occupied by other guests. The fact that the rooms have not by far the furniture needed at a 4 stars hotel. The cleaning: we had hair that wasn't ours in the bathroom sink, and something from a cleaning solution in the bathtub. The walls had stains as well as the carpet. The door from the mini bar furniture couldn't be closed.The staff were hopeless. Totaly unhelpful and looking bored. We had to ask again and again to bring us a glass of water. I wonder... isn't there a hotel manager?.
