The Hotel was in a good location, and the staff were great. The breakfast was good, and the rooms were great for the price. Receptionist Oana was the best. Anything we asked about the Bucharest, she knew and was always offering more information. Very friendly and looked out for my group. Best receptionist I have met in all my travels. She gets 5* herself. The staffs in the reception desk are kind. They are ready to help you. There is a safe in the room so it's very useful. Mcdonald is really close(next to the hotel), The cismigiu park is near the hotel so you can take a walk. The location is an advantage of this hotel. We can see many tourist attractions on foot.
all reviews » The hotel was in a good location for access to tourist attractions. We used the metro and the hop on/hop off bus to get around. We took the metro from the train station (it was a little hard to find) and then walked to the hotel. The breakfast was very good. Great reception staff, friendly and always ready to assist. Hotel well located and easy to reach landmarks, shops and old city area for the nightlife. Rooms a little small but clean and tidy with everything you need. Definitely will stay there again. A all round good quality hotel for a young couple away on business for a day in Bucharest, very close to the city center. Nice bufet breakfast in the morning, high speed wireless internet and good size room with great facilities. Had a nice one night stay in this hotel, it was clean and had friendly staff. It is well located in the city and only a short walk from Izvor metro station, which has a direct link to the main Gara de Nord station. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location in the center. All was perfect. Breasfast was served by very kind persons but the room it a bit smal and the chairs very noisy. Maybe, in the beggining, this was 4* hotel, but some elements, such as cleaning and maintenance of rooms and the service during breakfast are not on a that high level. The breakfast was okay, but the breakfast room by far too small for the hotel, and not suitable for breakfast. You had to wait/to fight for coffee, eggs, a seat, this was annoying. Also, staff was very noisy when sorting in cutlery, and rough when arranging plates between guests when waiting for food. One lady was very sorry for the situation. I think the hotel management should work on this and it will be a good choice. Non. the room was not properly cleaned. Can't think of anything...except for overpriced services (ironing, taxi to/from airport...) but i guess that's a common thing with all hotels. They do not have mosquito drapes on the windows. If you come during the spring summer or fall, bring something with you. I got bit so many times!. Breakfast very very poor for a 4 starts hotel and if u come after 09:15, sure u will have nothing to eat like last day and we had to go out for breakfast. One of the central streets, so quite noisy (traffic). Very strange design of the rooms (black, white and steel). For me it is not nice, but smb may like it. Too much street noise. Unable to check in on arrival. I could choose only between a room with a view at McDonald's kitchen or a room with a view to a very nosy and dusty street . The view on the window. The wifi is too slowly : it's a real problem in this hotel, where you have a lot of professional who come ... The cleaning and the laundry are not very operational !. Breakfast was just ok. Poor choice of salads and non-meat dishes. All three mornings I ended up eating the same cabbage salad, cut vegetables and cooked boiled potatoes. It was tasty but for me that was the only choice. There were plenty of meat, cheese, sausage choices so this may not apply to you. Cigarette smoke everywhere and all the time. Even the non-smoking fourth floor was unbearable. Air-con didn't work, and couldn't keep the window open as there were so many mosquitos (even in late October) and no screens on the windows. They should rename the place to Hotel Cigarette - absolutely dreadful. No gym. There was only one tea bag in the room. There was no body lotion or hair conditioner. The staff was loud in the morning with cleaning and, we didn't got a smoking room even we applied for it. The price for a night was higher then usually. better room service needed. Sound quality of TV not good. The cleaning in the bath room need improvement. the small size of the room, the small size of the beds, the small size of the bedroom, the closed safe case and the defect bed side light and the fact that they offered us a smoking room without to be asked about that in advance. Very small room. Prea mult zgomot si micul dejun saracacios,. Its a 3star hotel not 4, the room is small and the worst thing is that there is no parking space without paying ans getting scammed.
