The location is perfect! Directly across the street from Charlies/Ace car rental. Very convenient for an early morning flight. If you rent from Charlies they will shuttle you to airport. The beach access is right next to hotel. The beach is a beautiful! The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel is small (12 rooms) very secure. I felt very safe during our stay and also walking outside alone. The hotel isn't fancy but its clean safe and friendly. Just what I needed for our one night s.
all reviews » Great location, very helpful staff, super clean, good A/C. This is a basic, one floor only hotel. Looks like it was a largish beach house that has been converted to a hotel. The staff controls entrance/exit to the hotel and seemed very safe. The parking is free which not all in this area have even the expensive properties. If you don't need extras and don't want to pay for something you aren't gonna use this is a great option. Great location for a long weekend or quick quality beach time. Close to 3 24 hour restaurants and a Walgreens. Super close to the beach. Great value. Nice tv, tile floors. Looks a little out of place next to some of the other hotels but I am a starving student. No complaints. The staff was great. Very helpful and kind. Location was excellent. Only a 1 minute walk from the beach. The price was right especially compared to the high rise hotels in the area. Cool bars in the same street as the hotel. Staff very attentive and able to accomodate our needs. Example: The room I was assigned initialy didn't have wi-fi access. They changed my room and problem solved. Nice comfortable clean beds and the courtesy of the employees. Also the secure entrance make my family felt secure. Our room was immaculate and the beds were new and super comfortable. We appreciated being on the ground floor. I loved the location...quick access to the beach, local restuarants, grocery store, Walgreens, bus line access. This was an inexpensive hotel, so I wasn't expecting too much. The rooms were adequate, but the description online is inaccurate (a "double room" on letsbookhotel.com com = a "single room" once you arrive). The location close to the beach was nice. I liked the location it was near all sorts of eating places and it was centrally located from the airport. Close to everything. Nothing. No complaints. No WIFI. Close to airport is good for convenience but can occasionally be plane noise. Cable was iffy, many channels didn't work or came and went a lot those that worked were mostly in Spanish even those like Disney, Nick, ..etc. The rooms are not private. TV was tiny , shower took a while to warm up and the bed was okay. If you are not picky, this is a good choice. The towells are extremely small and the btahrooms or the room have enough space to put anything on. Bathroom you have to put evrything on the floor. The lock at the bathroom door was damaged and it was almost imposible to unlock specialy from outside. Noise from partiers during night. The beds were not comfortable, too small, smelt like mildew, did not have a ceiling fan, the water did not get hot. Services like wake up calls, telephone are not provided. handicap ramp will be an asset. An outdoor shower will be great, because it is steps from the beach. They can build an open space in the roof with plants, umbrellas and tables, and why not, a mini bar and snacks, for relaxation. I was surprised that they have no room phones and no radio or alarm clock. I did fine without them but.. mucho ruido muy temprano en la manana para linpiar los alrededores. The wardrobes were a little dated. but that did not detract from the overall feel of the place. it was great. Need: plasitc cups wrapped in secure paper. Need more towels. Need wash clothes and hand towels in rooms. Need better hotel secure locks. front door at night make to much noise. No balconies. Very noisy facility because of its location. Right on busy street. The a/c barely worked and was only controlled by the employees. The walls were so thin. I could hear everything outside and walking by. thin walls, small room too crowded noisy neighbors also built long ago. Cost was a bit high for a small/lower class hotel. Water took forever to heat up for a shower. bed too small for couple,. beds too soft, property really old. Makes you feel sleazy staying here. Price should be half of what it is. There were 2 cockroaches in our room. They have spray available at the front desk, but claimed to "have never seen them previously.". The room was very deary its paint was a semi gloss which was straight out of the 1950's No hot water in the morning and it was very cold the temperature of the room must have been for meat packing not vey welcoming. Towels were of very poor quality, no phones, hair dryer, iron/board, or Wi-Fi in the room. The day of an important meeting, there was no hot water. The room description was very misleading, it was a communal Kitchen and dining area, not as it read in the room description. The staff were not very friendly and the area was not very nice. It is more like a cheap motel. Not really what we expected and I would not recommend it to anyone.
