Szmulson is the best hostel ever. It's near center (for 20 minutes) in a beautiful and calm district. Our room were clean, comfortable and well-desinged. We have almost all what we need: the individual shower, little kitchen, big windows and bed. The Szmulson's host is a polite man with a sense of humor. So, if you want to relax in your apartments with your boyfriend or family separately from others I recommend Szmulsom for this aims.
all reviews » The room was really comfortable and 5 minutes walk to a train leading to the center of warsaw (a 20 minutes journey). You have a small kitchen and a private bathroom, wi-fi, TV and everything else you need to relax with your boyfriend or girlfriend alone. The host is almost never there but you can call him everytime you need and he's really nice. I strongly recommend this hostel. Szmulson is great place with great staff. Features and decor of the rooms is very pleasant and interesting. I recommend it!. nice way to use small space and make it compact and comfortable. design, friendly staff, clean. Location, price, fridge and microwave in room, owner was helpful. wszystko nam się bardzo podobało ;). We have a little room - it's OK, but there is no hanger or shelf for clothes. So we pur our clothes on the window sill or the floor. And one more probem - we can check in hostel only after a 13:00, but maybe it's not a problem for others. The hostel is far from supermarkets and we couldn't find any ATM or kantor but as long as you buy everyting you need in the center it's ok. When we arrived the room was really nice and clean but during our stay the room was never cleaned again. Remember to take your shoes off as soon as you get inside or else the floor with be filled with dirt. the double bed was just two twin mattresses put together. so the mattresses did not stay together. 1 double bedsheet would at least be an option to improve the situation. the shower curtain did not prevent the water from flowing all over the bathroom. the floor was wet and without slippers it was very uncomfortable. No soap, only one towel, duvets smelled from cigarettes a little. This hotel is not on proper road, this is somewhere amidst buildings and very difficult to locate. We were under the impression that it is a hotel, but it turned out to be a guest house with no reception. They also charged us extra money 100 PLN for late checkin (11 pm! after spending loads of time searching for this place).
