12 of us went for long weekend away. For just over £30 a night you get spotless rooms, power shower, free toiletries, 24hr drinks facilities (beer, pop, coffee machine, snacks, even the odd sandwich) all from 24hr reception. no problems at all.. staff friendly and knowledgable. Tram stop right outside, mcdonalds opposite, excellent turkish restaurant 100yds away. We flew to Modlin, so had transfer booked anyway. Chopin is very close, but u will need a taxi etc.. those that complained for needin.
all reviews » an excellent value for money hotel- it is furnished similar to premier/ teavel lodge hotels but the kindness of the staff and the fact that it is kept very clean take it above premier/travel lodge standards. excellent public transport (tram) right outside the hotel'S door. (Take the No 9 Tram and that will take you right into the heart of the city and stops at the Charles Degaul round about for the historic reconstructed part of Warsaw). Everything ! well located tram stop right outside the door choice of 2 trams right into the centre of town made its location perfect just 5 mins from the airport in a taxi which only costs about 6 euro. tip buy a 3 day bus/tram/metro ticket only cost 30 zlotys about 7 euro 25 bargain Also the breakfast was substantial for 22 zlotys all you can eat continental. Booking with "secret offers" turned out to really be cheaper. I liked the cleanliness, staff was all good too. The tram stop is just opposite the building, like 1 minute walk from the hotel reception, however it takes ~20 minutes to get to the city center, but trams run frequently. Automatic vendors in reception. Tv, free wi-fi. The double room we booked was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel is sleek and modern, and great value for money. There is also a tram stop right in front of the hotel. The "Frederic Chopin" airport is at very close proximity to the hotel and is therefore perfect for those flying in or out. We booked this hotel urgently when we got stuck in Warsaw for a night. Therefore, we did not have enough time to read reviews about it and so on. However, the hotel really exceeded our expectations. The bed was very comfy, satellite tv with some international channels, clean bathroom. The rooms were very clean and warm. The shower was great. The tram was right outside the hotel and the number 15 brought us to the centre of Warsaw in only 25 minutes. That was very convenient. There is also a McDonalds right across the road and a garage. Good, new design, good look. This is a place where I will return if I will be in Poland. We got 2 seperate rooms - one for adults + child and other for other 2 childs - SUPER!!!. The location is perfect. It is a short drive from the airport and a bus stop is right across from the hotel, so getting around the main city of Warsaw is very convenient. Desipte two requests this was not rectified. It was very hot in the room.the aircondition did not work. The only thing we missed was a kettle. We knew not to expect one from the website and other reviews, but it would have been nice for the evenings/mornings. No fridge in the room. Wi-fi worked but the connection was very slow. No restaurant or bar. WIFI connection is not very good. No hair dryer and electric kettle in the room. I have heard the neighbors TV. Nothing. The water from the shower leaks and floods the bathroom's floor, this is the only negative issue. It was less personal... Nice, new room, but grey walls... Staff was ok, but nothing special... No public transportation, you need a taxi to the airport, or you have to walk 40 minutes... Awful breakfast, does not worth 20 Zloty. It's better choice to go for a breakfast to McDonald's on the opposite side of the street. I missed pastries for a breakfast. I didn't like that there was no option to use the computer. There was a WIFI but my phone was faulty on that time and I really needed to use the internet. Secondly it would be nice to have complimentary water or apple etc on the welcome table, welcome message as well would be lovely. Parking fee could be included in the price. Lack of hairdryer. The small bottles of shampoo and soap would be apprecieated.... no glasses at the room. as most of the gests were on business travel need coffe making in room (kettle). Unstable wifi. No hairdryer. No restaurant. A bit overpriced (during the week) for a two-start hotel. Lies about walking distance to Airport.
