Excellent design; a historic barracks has been modernized into a superb hotel full of atmosphere. Very elegant restaurant and staff, very good breakfast buffet. Great location on the Vistula, right on the edge of the historic town centre. Friendly and good staff. Our son forgot to close the cardoor, so a security man sat by the car for hours until we were back from a visit in town. Perfect. Excellent rooms and fantastic breakfast. Good parking.
all reviews » A great location right on the edge of the superb old town. Easy to drive in and out of, as long as you ignore the Google instructions which take you to a back gate. Nice location, very close to city center, but in direct neighbourhood of the Wisla river. Good breakfast, modern but 'feel-good' rooms. Internet is free of charge. It's a wondreful hotel, the location is perfect for visiting the old town in Torun. The breakfast is great, it's clean and perfect for a romantic plan. Excellent quality and perfect location for the old part of town. Friendly staff, good rooms with nice combination of new design and old history. Something luxurious everywhere (fresh berries during breakfast, possibility to use spa...). Amazing,all about to stay in the city ,close to old town .All team friendly .good food:). Location. Great location, good food, nice room. Location. Small points only; TV programme selection could be more international for Brits and Germans. Coffee-making facilities in the room would be appreciated. The shower cabinn in our room was as little bit leaking on the floor, but it meant only more towels.... Parking is paid, but as just 100m from central square, no surprise. Our room was in the first floor and it was a little bit dark and out of best river views. Nothing -all went well!. Lobby bar that was never open and a bar in the basement that closed very early. Nothing. Wifi in the room is not working because of the heavy walls. It was only two drawbacks. The first drawback was lack of wifi in the room (but there was free wifi in the lobby and cable for internet in the room). The second drawback was a big surprise. There were only one plug for electronic devices in the room, wich was challanging for a modern travelling couple with one phone each plus iPad etc. Personel in pub, small spa, lack of wifi in the room. Lack of heating, no insolation and strange setup with only one socket that kept going for our extra heater.
