  Reception was most helpful on arrival, giving information we wanted, without needing to ask. Being on the edge of the old town it did not take long to walk in to the square. Gentle stroll through the green belt perimeter of the - We loved the old-fashioned, refined ambience of the place. Our room was small but elegant with a nice modern bathroom, a small fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and 3 bottles of water each day. Breakfast was very good, as well as the cold buffet you could have cooked food. Dinner in the restaurant was also very good and excellent value. There were lots of nice touches - fresh plants in the dining room, a pleasant outdoor garden in which they were planting new plants ready for the bette

  Very clean and new, with excellent location right across from Auschwitz. Breakfast was good, too. - It is very clean hotel with nice staff. Hopefully, we will be back next year

The breakfast buffet was comprehensive with fresh, tasty fare on offer every day. The impressive Royal Ar - I liked the location which was just below the Castle at the edge of teh old town. We had the Wavel tram stop just next to us whihc ran both into town , around it and into Kazimierz as well as furhter afield such as the Bohotara Ghetto. The large rooms were great, especially int eh heat. The mattresses and pillows were very comfortable and we had clean sheets daily. The building is lovely.   The location was excellent in a quiet street but only a few minutes walk from the centre. The staff could not do enough to help especially the ladies working in reception. Everything occurred according to the plan, and if not so, the staff dealt with it instantaneously. Good english speaking staff, not so common in those areas witch is good. We absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to escape from the city and have a romantic time or just rest.
