  Very friendly personal which is very helpful in every thing. I had no problems with the language the most of them speak English and if not it should not be a big deal, common your on holiday. Challenge yourself that makes travelling an adventure. It's right that the Hotel is quite 'old school' but that gives the hotel a certain charm. I had a very good internet connection in my room all the time and it is f - I really liked this place. On the outside it looks worn down, but inside it is a nice, clean place. The style is very retro, like taking a trip to the past. The price is excellent. The breakfast was great. The staff is helpful. The location is close to the train station. I would go back.

  Booked at the last minute, staff was very communicative, price was the best for the category (80zl for single room w/ bathroom), access to very basic kitchen, 3 floor stairs.   hostel absolutely fine, our accommodation perfect, however after checking in and unpacking we went back and packed up and went back to Krakow. this was because Katowice is a total building site. i am sure in a couple of years when the work is completed it will be a nice place to visit! and i would highly recommend the katowiche hostel, even with ... what people say » shared facilities, it is a credit to the owners. If you need an overnight stop or 2 this is the place to stay, clean, laundry facilties and modern, a - I was transiting through the city to Wroclaw and found this place to be very very central, right next to the main train and bus stations, so I hardly had to walk anything. Mostly clean and well-maintained, good staff, one of the better places I've stayed at recently.
