The rooms were very spacious. The location was perfect and once we found our feet realised that we were in walking distance from most restaurants and bars. The food was good with plenty of variety. The people outside the hotel spoke very little english but enough for us to get by. A train ride for 2 - 3 euros to a place called Sopot is a must. Its a beach resort but also nice in the winter. The drink and food is for nothing (outside the hotels) so great value for money. There is a taxi rank out.

All the old town historic building is in walking distance from the hotel. great pool and spa centre, restaurant and wines good, friendly staff on Motlowa river, near the Old Town which is a hidden gem of Europe. Loved it, perfect location. Next to the river with lots of cafe, bars abd restaurants. Try the Buddha Lounge for superb Asian cuisine. I loved the breakfast buffet - 70 zl a person and absolutely worth it. There were a few unsavoury carachters hanging arount outside the hotel which may give you a fright at first but you get used to it and they start to ignore you if you dont engage. The booking said the room had a patio view, which it didn't, the window looked right onto another building. It might be nice to have a clear description of what kind of view to expect when booking. Breakfast hostess abrupt and rude. It pays to distinguish your individual customers from B&B groups and treat them appropriately. Breakfast choice was ok, but you could tell that it was geared mostly at groups. Other 5 Star hotels offer more choice and better quality products. Taxi fares more expensive outside Hilton they are at a set price. One can get a bus to the Airport from a stop about 10 mins walk away. Taxi from the Airport to the Hilton was 30 z cheaper then the rate quoted outside to return. Hotel is on the edge of the old town so no so central as we first thought but if you dont mind walking its not a problem. Nothing. The food menu does not contain a vegetarian main courses. I was charged a minibar fee for something which I didn't take, marring the experience of perceived perfect service. Staying here was a romantic splurge for myself so the extra and false charges were a sour ending note. With hope it will be resolved quickly. Leaving. value for money in terms of the local economy not great, the price of 3-4 drinks in hotel bar would cover a night out for 2 in town, however it is the hilton. The beds were a bit on the firm side. Parking is expensive but you can park close by in the street for free on weekends. The pool is not that big and the cleaning is not so great. We had to tell them again to clean the room. Breakfast is expensive comparatively so we ate out close by. Thank god we did not take the patio view room. It is the worst room in the hotel. I didnt like one quilt for two persons. Pathetic fitness centre with tiny gym room. minimum toileteries and bad towels. longer check out because of too many people want to check out the same time. Air-conditioning a little bit too noisy. Breakfast. Too early to close the swimming pool. Nottingham. nothing!. To expensive. The staff. Especially of the restaurant and the cleaning ladies. Uff... Found out that the breakfast was not included and had to pay 70 zlotys per person and can say that it was not worth it in Poland measurement considering the price of the mediocre rooms. Took the deposit of the room before the stay and did not get back until after 5 days of check out of the hotel.
