huge space, complete amenities, location, convenience. will keep coming back whenever i can, longer if i have the budget.this is my 4th time in the last year and a half. i love it.i actually live less than 5kms away.been to several hotels in the past 2 yrs and this is one of the best for me. keep it up!. A wide range of room space with full eqiupped amenities on bath stuff and kitchenette. Short walk (approximately 15 minutes Asian average speed of walk) to Super Mega Mall and 30 minutes walk to Shangri La Plaza. When we go for a group of family, this property was the best place to stay in.
all reviews » Staff are very helpful, friendly and couldn;t do enough for guests. The on site spa and salon are also very convenient. The free shuttle service is another plus, as although shops and restaurants were not far, it would be too hot and uncomfortable to have to walk. Breakfast was very good. Variety every day . Staff was so helpful and courteous. I am very happy with our stay and thinking of booking my next travel with Astoria or my hotel accommodation. Spacious living Area/room. Staff whom I can not speak highly enough and Praise very highly for all their efforts. it was near several shopping mall, parking is available, there were swiming pool, gym, free breakfast, friendly staff, rooms looks and smell new. The Buffet has changed since my last visit, Not as much variety. Pricey for extra guests! Wifi free service cuts off everynow and then, needs improvement. The beds are hard not soft and the smell when you go out the room into the hallway. Limited food choice, room service not consistent with food order, one day with salad one day with chips and one day with sauce? 11:30 am order informed no bread or rolls, however when going to see food and beverage team leader and supervisor informed there is!. nothing. The hk was too efficient that he/she throw away some saved plastic bags on the table... If they are on the table..that means that are to be used again and do not appreciate having things throw away without my acknowledgment. If I want to throw things away, I would have put them in the trash. Internet was slow. Check in procedures are long No Record for visitors. I was expecting more variety at breakfast. astoria was skimping on the AC on the corridors, elevators and the main lobby. No taxi driver seems to know how to get to this hotel if you let them think you dont know the way. But quickly find the way when you confront them ??????????. Overnight parking too expensive for guests. Location and poor wifi connection. Only wifi coverage in living room not in bedroom. Also, fee is payable for every second connection (per devise). The room is good for 4 but the wifi is only for 1 gadget. You can't even log off from the first gadget then transfer to a second gadget. Poor wifi service. Breakfast area is small, crowded and hot. Wifi is horrible, you'll wait for ever for the elevators, lobby small and crowded, hallways smell like garbage, no chairs at pool and ac water comes down. The front desk staff are so inconsiderate, bad experience from check in to check out. Unwilling to listen or to be flexible for any requests.. Feels like talking to machines that are programmed to say "No". Price was different to what was quoted by BOOKING dot com.
