Among the 4 5 star hotel/resort in Boracay,Ambassador is the best for the price.It's the newest among the 4.All the rooms have a porch facing the ocean & Spanish style rowhouses,on the beach.Very nice welcome touch-4ladies with a shell-lei, a tropical drink & you are seated comfortably-while signing/arranging your accomodation. All the staff are courteous & very helpful.Since I was on my own, I was worried but 24 hour security is very good.Courtesy cellphone was very helpful.Special.

Had free wi fi so i could stay connected throughout,whether i was in the room or restaurant. staff was friendly and willing to assist,though their comprehension of english may vary,it is understandable that with so many different nationalities and accents that they may have difficulties fully understanding everyone but they make up for it by trying their best to get you what you need.Did not fully utilize the . Loved the Ambassor. It truly is a hotel in paradise. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Room was extremely spacious, nicely decorated and very clean; serviced twice a day. Restaurant - the food was to die for. The set dinner menu was really good value; quality and presentation was fantastic. Tried several restaurants on Borocay but kept coming back to the Ambassador in Paradise. I would highly recommend this hotel. We felt a genuine sense the staff cares about their guests. We also were happy to see the staff Christmas party and how appreciated they are by the owner. We will definitely stay there again. I do not normally do reviews but The Ambassador is the exception. Great place to stay. The location is fantastic. The staff are very helpful. It is right on the beach and about 500 meters walk (on the beach) to station 2 where all the shops and eateries are. Bors at is a fantastic place and the Ambassador is one of the best places to enjoy it from. It's absolutely safety resting. Excellent service, everybody are very friendly. I think that this hotel is a best hotel ! I suggest to arrange spa saloon with wide kinds of massage. The tastes of the food needs improvement,menu needs more native dishes i.e.valenciana, camaron rebosado, lechon etc. The aircon temperature kept stating it was 28 degrees even when i set it to 18..as it was super hot i really felt warm at times despite trying to adjust the temperature. Nothing. I read several reviews prior to booking our stay, I really don't have anything to say that I didn't like. difficult to say. pool was small and did not have lifeguard to watch children. Major construction working taking place directly above the restaurant caused major disturbance at breakfast and lunch we went elsewhere for lunch several times Construction work on next door property started as early as 6am - we moved room because of this. No warning that boat transfer may involve wet feet getting off boat. Spa was not private enough. Certain staff were observed clearing their throats and spitting out phlegm onto the sand near the beach recliners. This is very unsanitary and a good way to transmit respiratory diseases. From what I understand the front office is undergoing personnel change. There was some lack of communication with me. It was nothing bad and only happened two times during my seven day stay. Poor Breakfast. Service is very slow. no food or drinks alowed from outside. A bit far from the major area of all events. The hotel had a problem with ants at the morning buffet. The old Ambassador signage in front of the resort should be replaced by a more attractive but simple ones. There is no telephone in the room, so it is not easy to order room service. And its location on S1 is not so good, far from t'mall, t'talipapa, and other sports center. The shuttle bus is not enough for use, and only starts on 6 am, too late to see the sun rise. And the last, most staff's English is so poor that it's hard to communite with them. It's totally NOT worth its price.
