  Fantastic place! Of the three cabins we stayed in during our visit to Norway, this was the best. Nicely furnished, well priced, loads of space, very nice setting, close to town, walk to the grocery - in short, everything one could want! The kitchen is well set up so it was easy to prepare our own meals and the beds were comfortable. The shower was... what people say » also great - no complaints! The wifi was iffy as it came and went, but nearer the main reception area, it was good. - The nicest cabin out of the 14 we stayed in. It was the largest and the least expensive. Fireplace, oven, three bedrooms. Super nice, I give it a gold star.

  Stayed overnight en route from Oslo to the North. Room OK with views over river. Free parking. Lillehammer worth a visit, although more a winter resort. - Beautiful location.   With our 6-year-old grandson we came to prepare for and watch our son ski the Birkebeiner. We rented skis at Nordseter which worked very well. The skiing was great with well-tracked trails. We loved the pool and sauna after skiing and our final dinner at the hotel. - Very good and frendly treatment from peopel at the hotel.
