This was a great place to stay on the Coromandel with beautiful sea views. Our unit had everything we needed - it was clean and comfortable and the proprietor was extremely helpful. We could sit on the verandah with a glass of wine and look out over the ocean. This wasn't the newest or shiniest motel we stayed in but it didn't need glitz to make it a lovely place to stay. *Great friendly welcome and helpful on the phone prior to visit *Very comfortable rooms *We traveled in a group of 12 consisting of teens, adults and younger kids. As it was a quiet time the hosts gave the couples a free upgrade to studio rooms and the rest stayed in 2 large family style accommodation rooms.
all reviews » The owner, Paul, gave us a warm greeting and upgraded us to a family cottage at no cost. It was large with a big patio and very well equipped inside. He made wonderful recommendations on places to see. Although it rained during our stay, it was the perfect place to be to end our trip in New Zealand. The owner Paul was amazing and very friendly. We really enjoyed the value added such as complimentary WIFI, use of Kayaks and Fishing rods. The facilities in the kitchen was also very complete with microwave, grill, cooker, pots, pan etc. Altering accommodation promptly and without fuss to suit our requirements. Excellent,free, Internet throughout stay. Very helpful advice on local facilities,activities and providing spade for Hot Beach!.
