Reception staff very helpful and accomadating, off street parking. reasonable rooms & reasonable kitchen facilities. Quite a good all round youth hostel. Short walk to town centre. This was our first experience of YH and was very pleasant.
The view in front of the hostel is very nice. The hostel is very big and have plenty of room. During my stay, I only share room with another girl and the other 2 bed is empty. The location is good.all reviews »
The rooms were spacious an the kitchen was also big and very well equipped. Nice location a bit further out of town but overlooking the lake.
Kitchen was massive, everything you needed. Bathrooms very large, and kept tidy. Nice location, not to far too walk into town.

Some staff weren't the friendliest, not horrible but just a bit off. On one morning several staff kept coming in the room to do room cleaning not once or twice but about 7 times.
No power sockets in our room. Considering we paid for a private twin this was extremely disappointing.

The shower wasn't hot at all, and the water pressure was low. The backpacker kindly provided a blanket in our double room, but it was dirty and got lots of hair on it.

I caught jock itch by using one of your towels for 1 dollar!! Very unhappy about it
Please wash your towels in a hotter temperature washing cycle!!
The towel is the only foreign thing I used in my entire holiday...
