They were incredible! We arrived in the middle of the night and they had our room heat on and had put the baby crib made up in the room before we got there. Our room was spacious and comfortable and there were plenty of blankets. It was minutes away from the airport but was quiet and comfortable. The location was perfect for me as it's close to the airport and that was the purpose of my stay for an early flight out of Chch. The price was very reasonable too.
all reviews » My son and I arrived approx 2230hrs. We found our key stuck to the reception window as per your instructions. The room was good just what we needed to sleep. Nice grounds, staff went out of their way to organise an early taxi that picked me up from the unit. A stones throw from the airport, excellent value. Proximity to ChCh airport. Ease of dealing with staff. Prompt response, etc. Value for money. Made things easy arriving post-midnight. we have had to bookings with them both good we arrived after midnight and they had put the heater on the room so nice and cosy thanks. Friendly staff. Not too far from airport so excellent if in transit somewhere. Free shuttle service provided to and from airport. free pick up from airport. friendly and helpful staff. no traffic noise. room small but well set out. suits a one nighter. Restaurants a bit far away. Distance to bus stops No Coffee, sugar, milk provided in room. No microwave oven, For the sake of maybe $80/room purchase cost. The owners could include a microwave and charge a few dollars more a night to recoup the cost of install. The landscaping was very poor. noise from other inconsiderate guest on the veranda outside cabins. n/a. being fifty meters from the toilets for my usual visit during the night. You have to pay extra for blanket and all. You advertise transfer to airport Asked if we could get transfer to top Warakai Rd Less distance than airport told no airport only. Clean. Bit pricey. We saw the communal kitchen being cleaned by a chap just wiping the surfaces over with an old towel which did not look clean. Our transfer to the airport was in a minibus which did not have enough seats to accommodate all the passengers so one girl sat on another person's lap. Both serious health and safety offences. It was freezing. Zero ouside and zero in the cabin. The heater was useless and did not make any difference. To be fair I would assumw this place must be ok in summer and should be avoided in winter. Nothing comes to mind.
