The coast of the island of Walcheren has many famous seaside resorts. Zoutelande is situated in the south-west of Walcheren. Zoutelande has been a nice seaside resort for families for years where activities will be organised every day in the summer season for all ages, like the weekly tourist market, the game tilt at the ring and dig for treasure. In the centre of this village you will find several shops, restaurants, terraces and cafés to relax.

The medieval village of Veere is located on the north of Walcheren. The marks of a glorious past can still be seen through all houses and streets. Imposing fortifications and other monuments are dominating the horizon.

Domburg is the oldest seaside resort. In the past, this was a reputable health resort for the elite and a place for artists to live. The centre offers many terraces and shops.

The wide and long boulevard of Vlissingen is a real attraction. You will notice this while walking to the yacht-basin along the quay enjoying the view over the Westerschelde and the pilots.

Middelburg is the capital of Zeeland and counts more than 1000 monuments. A guided tour through this town will lead you along all souvenirs from the past. The age-old Norbertine Abbey is the highlight of the tour. The buildings are nowadays being used by the province of Zeeland and the Zeeuws Museum.
