The best thing of this small hotel is the staff. The guys are very friendly and ready to help you, they speak english so there's no problem with communication. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the heating system works perfectly. Continental breakfast was good. The price of the room is reasonable and I strongly recommend this hotel. We were here for one nighty travelling through to Ireland and the hotel is in a superb location- eight beside the station and also to the lovely small town centre of venlo. The owner was very nice and hot up earlier to make us a great breakfast so we could catch our flight. Thanks!.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would always choose it if I returned to Venlo. We travelled from England for a weekend watching football but my friend had left his coat behind. It was November and 2 degrees so the owner lent him his coat! (and it wasn't a cheap one). Good location between the town and the station. Very local staff, love to laugh and have fun. They're doing their best to accommodate their gust the best possible way within reason. Very good value for quality. Ample breakfast served in a private basket. Quiet room, despite Kermis. Very kind staff, well informed about everything in Venlo: shops, parks, estate agents, places to see, restaurants, details about transport. The next time I will stay in the same hotel. There were other competitors, so they even offered to serve breakfast earlier for my early start. Luckily, he upgrade my room to double bed room and hv toilet! Clean, comfort hotel! I've been however waited until 23:45, for which I am very grateful. The lobby space is very nice. Staff very help and accommodating regarding my late arrival. nothing. Room 28 had a weak WiFi reception, however I spent most of my time in the comfy lounge downstairs anyway. The bed was not a double one it was two single beds together. I took single room. Room was cold because heater was too small.Smels not good with toilet but for me it was ok. Please be again aware that the hotel takes 23:00 check-in deadline very seriously :). Breathing in cigarette smoke all night was horrible. Stuffy, old and veeeery basic.
