The staff was courteous, attentive, and accommodating. The room was attractive, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Excellent selection and quality of meals from the hotel's several dining locations. Very fair pricing. The gym room is quite poorly equipped. Very incompetent staff, young, inexperienst and not helpful. Bathroom not private!. No Wi-Fi, only wired access to Internet. Complicated air conditioner in room. Interesting glass-wall between the room and bathroom.no hairdryer in bathroom. Glass bathroom / toilet area - fine for singles but questionableotherwise. Sheets non spotless. Room size is OK but maybe a little small. No wireless internett conection in the rooms. 1. they tried to charge for extra bed a much higher amount then confirmed. 2. still high amount for extra bed+high breakfast charge for a child.The location (outside the city) is not fascinating and it is hard to find. The parking space is not enough. It could have a swimming pool, or at least a spa. Room service staff knocks on your door in the morning without request to do so. Airconditioning was poor. I had to dispute minibar and telephone charges from my room, clearly indicating that staff were helping themselves, in the hope that the guest would either not notice or be too embarrassed to dispute charges. The charges were however removed from bill, which was good.The beds are soooo hard that it feel like you lay on the floor - hard to find sleep. To come into the bathtube and out without a damage on the legs you have to be very careful and use both hands - and this for a young healthy person - what about the others. Regarding the beds they told us the other morning that they offer comfortable put-ons - would have been nice to know that the evening before.

Public Transport
Train to Rijswijk Station; take exit Plaspoelpolder. Outside the train station go to the right. You will see a big grey building; The Grand Winston Hotel.
From The Hague Central Station or The Hague Hollands Spoor take tram 17 to Wateringse Veld stop:Rijswijk Station. The hotel is across the street.

By car
From Amsterdam (A4), Rotterdam (A13) and Utrecht (A12) follow Rijswijk. At the A4 take exit Plaspoelpolder (exit 10). At the end of the exit, at the lights go to the right (no other option). Next lights turn left. Follow this road (Visseringlaan). At the end T-cross; go to the right. Follow this road and after the turn (to the right) go to the left, which is at the back of the hotel where you will find the parking spaces.

Walk around the building, so you will find the entrance of the hotel.
