  This is one of those charming hotel. My stay there was another Maastricht delightful experience itself. Like every charming hotel, it got its own charracter, which weren't always glamorous. Pastis location in upscale residential area, right infront of Maastrict college, 5 mins from two city parks, which one of them has mini zoo free admission. At the last moment I could not find my socket adapter and I've been provided them. Even one for 13A that is very difficult to find in common places. And in general they helped me a lot (this trip was stroke of bad luck for me). Good breakfast. Quite place.

  We stayed in a studio which had a kitchenette and lounge area and we loved it. It was much more spacious than we expected. Thought it was very good value for money. The bedroom was separated from the kitchen/diner/living room which was nice. The kitchenette was surprisingly well equipped. We cooked all our meals there. The beds and furniture were ... what people say » very comfortable. There is a small Spar in easy walking distance and a nice bakers. We also noticed a couple of cafes in Ell though we didn't try them - Very friendly and accommodating staff, lovely accommodation and good value for money.
