  We arrived at 11 p.m. & the owner waited for us. They're very friendly, the rooms are big & very clean. Nice to stay there. - the owners were really friendly and the rooms are new and spacious. We really enjoyed the substantial breakfast.

  Great breakfast. Very tidy and Linda was very helpful. Easy parking outside. The canal view room on the first floor is particurly nice. Good cafes etc for diner in the evening.   Lovely deluxe room with the most comfortable beds and pillows we ever had. Heaters were on day and night as it was - 4deg. Didnt want to leave it. It felt like home. Breakfast was great too. Hotel owner Chris couldnt have done more to make our stay enjoyable. Lovely town too. - nice breakfast; cosy, little, old-style Dutch hotel

  Good clean cheap hotel. When I came only older people (50 and older), so the hotel was quite quiet as well. Directly in the city center, everything was easy to reach.   We loved this place in Franeker. It was just unique in every way. Right beside the canal with so many lovely old buildings that looked like they fell out of a post card. Beyond anything we even expected or hoped for. The perfect example of a historic Dutch town, even with moats and zig-zag canals. The staff was just as if we would have been close ... what people say » relatives. Taken care of us, as if we would have been royalty. Can hardly wait until we come back!!!
