everything was fine except for no WIFI. Friendly Staff, Good Breakfast. Th3e staff were very pleqasant and helpful. Very friendly, helpful staff. Central location in the area we wanted to visit. clean hotel but needs more lounge seating. The quiteness. great breakfast, good location. price, breakfast. Location in a very nice area of the Netherlands with a lot of bicycle routes.Very early (8pm) restaurant closing. No maps of the area at the hotel reception, but they printed a map fromthe internet for me.No tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Dinner last orders at 8:00pm is very early. The town is small with only one other place to go in the eveningwithout driving. apart from main menu ,we was refused a sandwich or toastie during the evening.but thats the only minor complaint. Yes, I don't understand why the menu card was onlky in Dutch. It would have been good if the room had a kettle and coffee available. Were offered a room with balcony, when we got there not a balcony to be seen. Toilet too high for medium sized people, took too many flushes, no shower divider on the floor which caused entire floor to be flodded, and had to use many towels. noisy room, no internet access. The beds were terrible. I had to lay on the floor and even then the bed felt like a hammock.Service in restaurant slow - too few people trying to handle the bar, restaurant and reception.

The Gelderse Poort is also ideal for walking. This beautiful nature reserve was developed together with the World Nature Fund, and continuous supervision ensures that its original characters is preserved. Because of this, you can enjoy walks through the Millingerwaard, Bizonbaai, Klompenwaard and Loowaard, areas in which you can even leave the paths and enter the wild heart of the Gelderse Poort.
But you can also relax outside of the Gelderse Poort. With Nijmegen, Arnhem, Germany and various museums and tourist sights so close by, this area is perfect for daytrips.
