Location: Opposite the train station. Staff: Allowed me to check-in early since room was ready. Room quiet, despite being on the train/bus station side. Good room. Located right in front of the central station, in the heart of Maastricht, Amrath Grand Hotel de l’Empereur is a Jugendstil National Monument dating from 1902.
The Grand Hotel has 150 rooms and suites (2 rooms for disabled guests on request, subject to availability) and 12 party and reception halls and meeting rooms, 7 of which are entirely new rooms featuring a ballroom with balcony. The hotel also has 7 Penthouse (bridal) suites with a private roof garden. Furthermore, the hotel has a restaurant, a bar, an indoor swimming pool (free of charge for hotel guests only), solarium (extra charge) and a sauna (extra charge).
The Grand Hotel is easily reached from the motorway, situated only 10 km away from Maastricht-Aachen Airport. Trains, buses and taxis are directly opposite the hotel.

Please note that the maximum height of vehicles allowed in the parking garage is 1.90 metres.
Guests are kindly requested to note that the restaurant, bar and brasserie are open daily from 12:00 to 00:00 and the kitchen is open from 12:00 to 21:00.
The restaurant serves a special menu on the 24th, 25th and 26th of December. Reservations are required. Room service will not be available on those evenings.
