  very central and easy to find, staff were friendly and helpful, food next door was beautiful, room was clean but basic. I have stayed in Amsterdam a few times and I would definately stay there again. - All the staff including the receptionist have been very nice and helpful through our stay at the France Hotel

  it was a secure venue in a great location, the owner was very understanding and helpful and I would recommend it to anyone looking for accomadation in the city - Great location, great price, and very homely. Very comfy bed.

  The fact that it is so close to the main train station and near the most exiting area of Amsterdam, as well as the fact that my staying in the hotel provided me much comfort. - chilling at the bar. Going for a swim. That there was secure parking. The staff were excellent in helping us when our passports were stolen, when we were out site seeing.

Beds were alright for a short stay, good enough kitchen facilities for us to cook up a couple of very tasty meals. Decent size bathroom with a good shower. Very interesting European hotel with a lot of character. Room and bed were comfortable with excellent housekeeping services every day.
