Very good food and excellent staff. Comfortable rooms though not stylish. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant meals were very good Beds were comfortable. Very near to train station. I loved the restaraunt and beer garden - top notch. Friendly welcoming. Beautiful decor.No coffee/tea making facilities in room Entrance hall and approach to rooms were slightly shabby.

Due to its unique location in the green heart of the city, the Rodenbach offers the best of two worlds. It is located near the city centre, while the beautiful Volkspark is just next door.

Just a short walk away from the heart of Enschede, this hotel is the perfect base for exploring this interesting city. Characterised by cultural attractions, such as museums, exhibitions, theatres and music venues, this city is bustling with activity.

For an afternoon of shopping Enschede is one of the finest places to be. With modern shopping centres, such as ‘t van Heekplein, Klanderij and Twentec you’ll quickly run out of hands.

Furthermore, Enschede has many nice cafés and a bustling nightlife.

Next to the Hotel Restaurant Rodenbach you will find the Volkspark, an oasis of peace. The Volkspark covers an area of 15 hectares and is for the most part designed by Dirk Wattez. The park harbours many animal and plant species and various works of art, including the war memorial by Mari Andriessen.

Of course, you can also choose to relax on a pleasant cycling or hiking trip through the beautiful countryside.
