We had a lovely stay the beds were really soft and the room was spaciousand clean, we were overlooking the canal with a lovely view. Breakfastwas included in the price and good value and the staff were verypleasant, we would stay there again. What an amazing place - beautiful, clean and in the centre of town. The access to WI-FI was not reached - the system required to change the settings of the PC and even hotel staff didn't succeed in this trouble. It was a little bit characterless. every morning we told the receptionist what we had used in room bar. On the last morning she accused us of omitting 2 bottles of wine which we had told her about. It was quite embarassing in front of other guests. 1 Euro for WiFi per day could be well included into the price of the room, which is not low! Not reliable staff. Needed to leave my bag. A receptionist suggested I put it in front of the desk and it would be placed away. When I came back my bag was still standing where I left it and the other receptionist told they had no idea, whose bag it was... First night was very noise outside, they moved us and the second night was great.Hotel is a little small for that price.Although rooms are decent. No parking from the hotel available, public parking cost additional money. the room was too warm and not fresh enough. Room did not have any view, smell problem, probably related tooutside painting. No air condition. Jazz-if you dont like it, Dont you have option fo othe type of music,like classic. Uncomfortable beds, lumpy pillows. Breakfast very poor for a 4-star hotel. Strong smell of gas in breakfast room. Ventilation bathroom/WC not functioning. Room was musty and very dated. Breakfast a bit dry but okay.

- From the exit Delft/Pijnacker turn left at the 2nd traffic lights(Julianalaan).
- 1st traffic lights to the right. (On your left-hand side is a church which is marked "vrede", Mijnbouwstraat).
- At the next traffic lights turn to the right and keep the left lane (Michel de Ruyter weg).
- After the bridge (Sebastiaansbrug) turn to the left at the traffic lights.
- Drive on to the 3rd traffic light and turn right (on the corner there is a camera store called "Deko").
- You now drive into the old centre of Delft on a canal "Lange Geer" which changes into the "Koornmarkt" where Hotel de Ark is located on the opposite side of the canal.
-If you drive on, you can make a U-turn.
