Booked for a one night stop over before getting the ferry home to uk. Staff really friendly and I mean that, perfect location, popped out to Spar for munchies.......underground secure parking for our touring bike, charged only a couple of euros! No brainer and a bonus, did a battle field tour with a friendof my brothers in the army......walking around Arnhem and seeing all the points of interest and finished of with a visit to the Air Borne Flight Museum in Oosterbeek.....not to be missed only .
all reviews » Everything about this hotel was good. We arrived in the rain on our motorbike soaked and the staff were extremely helpful as we dripped over their floor. The room was perfect, clean and very well equipped. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. I would especially like to thank Denis who really put himself out to help us - even coming down to the car park to show me where to park my bike so I wouldn't get charged. Good new ,very clean well appointed hotel, ideal for centre of Arnhem and within easy walking distance. Riverside bars and restaurants very close and 'The Bridge too far' isn't too far either with museum and features. Good free internet connection in room and wide selections of TV channels. A good all round position with pleasant knowledgeable staff - well done all round. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was excellent and everything was new and clean as the hotel has only been open 5 weeks. Good breakfast included in the price. Great location in the city center. You canget to the hotel via a different route but that was a bit tricky to find, especially as it was late and we were tired. However, the road works should be finished soon!. Only shower gel, no shampoo or soap. No gym or sauna. During the weekend it's cheaper to park in the center of town then the hotel parking lot. The construction on the roads outside is still ongoing, we saw multiple people having trouble trying to follow their SatNav to the hotel. Difficulty in locating the hotel due to road works. The charges for national calls were excessive. 50 Eurocents per minute and Euro 1.75 for calls to a Dutch cellphone. It is a bit difficult to find, even with GPS. cold reception and breakfast area, simple breakfast, expensive parking. Nothing. Parking fees a bit high. Roads around the hotel were difficult to navigate without a GPS. Nothing. Nothing bad to say about it. could not find at first lack of signage but after reading booking form they did warn of road works so could have been my fault. due to closed roads in the centre it was very difficult and frustrating to find at the end of a long day. There was nothing we did not like about this Holiday Inn Express - except perhaps it would be good to have free parking. The breakfast was a bit basic, but overall I think the hotel is definitely good value for money. Building work made the hotel difficult access. Breakfast, although included was poor. Somewhat toocrowded at the breakfast facilities. I didn't like the location of the hotel it was good to walk to if it was day time but at night time when we were walking back from a festival about 11pm it was empty and very intimidating walking back to the hotel from the station so for that reason I wouldn't stay again if the hotel was closer to the station I would defiantly stay again as I travel to holland alot in the summer . more milk containers in the room please. Nothing. Hotel parking expensive. Very difficult to find -- the Arnhem one-way system is a nightmare. Apparently the hotel has been unable to persuade the town council to allow them to put up signposts. My room bathroom and sink were not cleaned for two days. They just made the bed. So bathroom and toilet were dirty for two days and i had to tell housekeeping to clean it. Got to within 100 yards but from there, getting to it by car was very difficult. The one way system was hell!!!. View was great..but at night lots of noise from street partiers till 4 am. small double bed and I changed this to a doube. Parking is expensive. Shower was not very powerful. the dispencers for soap. There wasn't anything not to like. Parking should be free. Building work was going on outside which was muddy and when walking out of the hotel we did end up with dirty shoes because of the mud and dirt of the building site.
