Indeed my family truly enjoyed our stay in your hotel. All your staff have been wonderful during our stay there. I would like to especially commend Lisa for helping arrange our tour in Amsterdam. She was nice and efficient in checking us in in an instance as the rooms are all ready and check in packets are all ready at the time of our arrival. Going on an evening stroll amongst some of the most beautiful canals ever created, you'll find yourself amid some of the most intriguing sites Amsterdam has to offer (Ann Frank House, Van Gogh Museum, Dam Square...). At the same time, this Boutique Hotel is located in a part of the city which has such a neighborly feel, you'll find yourself wishing you a resident rather than just a tourist. The staff at the reception area were extremely professional / informative. My room was quite small and the staff got in touch with me before I arrived to ensure that I was happy with this. I was only staying one night, so I was not too worried. As it happens, the room was absolutely fine. I would happily have stayed there longer. The facilities in the room were excellent (there was a Nespresso Machine!). The decor was quite dark but very tasteful and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was a a moderate walk from the central station, but right in the midd. The staff was really nice and helpful. I asked if there was an iron & board available via e-mail before I arrived and received a reply almost immediately saying an iron & board had already be placed in the room. The breakfast buffet is good, with lots of variety, and the bar menu is also good. The location was excellent - at most a 10-minute WALK from Centraal Station, and in a very charming area of town. The bed is very comfortable - great mattress and sheets! Nice bathroom with a goo. 1-Location is very good 2- Hotel is very quiet. That`s why rooms are very quiet too. 3-Room was very big & nice furniture. High ceiling. 4- Bathroom is very clean and big. 5- Hotel staff are very very very very nice. Specially who work in the breakfast room. They are extremly polite and helpful. 6-I stayed at 103 room number but there is view. It was a garden room which I don't mind at all. The interior design was fun: theatrical and quirky the breakfast (not included in room rate) was excellent value for money:10 euros the helpfulness of the staff was outstanding, from the moment we arrived - high level of service, wanting guests to make the most of their stay in Amsterdam and taking pride in the hotel, almost as if they owned it Wonderful location, canal-side. We too were sad to leave the comfort and atmosphere of Sebastians. We were lucky enough to have a canal side room, so enjoyed the very comfortable room facilities and a wonderful view. The staff at Sebastians are probably among the most welcoming, friendly and helpful we have encountered on our trip. I would happily recommend Sebastians to travellers to Amsterdam. The hotel was very good about providing that information. Room is a little dark. Nothing :). Soundproofing inside the building is not perfect. It didn't bother us, but can be a problem for some people. TV remote didn't work. Some noise from improvement work but that will only result in an even nicer place to stay!. Room was very small altough the bed was. Walls were very thin. Had minor issues with the coffee machine in the room. Though the room is advertised as a small room, I feel like it should be advertised as a one-person room, as space was very limited. Also, I found that £10 a night for a continental breakfast was a little steep and really didn't fit with their otherwise cracking value. My room was very small because it was small single room. But, I have been warned from the hotel about this and I accepted that. it was a little expensive although maybe not for amsterdam. The room was quite small as well and a little noisy i guess thats what you get in these old character buildings. Nothing, absolutely no complaints. Although the decor was very "cool" it was rather dark. It would have been useful to have had brighter light in the bathroom. None. Nothing. The only fault was the small bedroom and tiny bathroom. My daughter and myself are reasonably slim so it was not a great hardship but for someone of a bigger build the bathroom might be uncomfortable. As we only slept in the room it was not a major issue and didn't spoil our holiday. Having to leave so soon. The interior design was impressive but we thought looked a bit tired, like wallpaper that was coming away from the wall in places and chipped paint. The hotel is showing it's age and I have never stayed in a hotel with office ceiling tiles. Nothing. Only one downfall No outside seating area. Can't comment on the meals as I had my breakfast elsewhere. My single room was tiny and for the price (compared to us standards) a bit high. However to be fair it was tourist season when I went in April (prices higher) and they did notify me that it was a very small room in a separate e-mail asking if I wanted to upgrade which I opted not to take. Nothing. room lacking in furniture to put clothes. There was nothing we didn't like about the hotel. The room decor was a little too dark to our taste.
