We have stayed in Nepal for ten days and we booked Alliance Hotel through letsbookhotel.com because we are tired of the hotels chosen by our travel agency (Snowland Travels and Tours - which is by the way, gave us a real crappy service - do not book your travel to Nepal through this agency! Real waste of money and they would trick you anyway they could!) . And we are so grateful for this hotel - we were able to relax before we head back home. In this hotel, we have experienced the most cozy bed.
all reviews » The hotel manager was superb; knows everything and always ready to help. Meals were good, and the breakfast in the garden, under those beautiful bell-shaped flowers, was wonderful. Location is not central, but an easy taxi ride away from anything. Airport pick-up and drop-off were efficient and cheap.Super for the price. Good view from the roof terrace. This hotel has only been under new ownership for a few months and is still building up a reputation. The manager and staff are all extremely helpful - nothing is too much trouble. One great plus is providing a free airport pick up. The food in the restaurant was good and fresh. I would recommend a stay here. Firstly thanks to the manager vishnu who picked me from Airport and helped me to organise the trekking, which is fantastic. the hotel is located quite area and the hotel is brand new and the staff are excellent. But on our Department the Manager don't call a Taxi for us, so we have to walk a long distance with luggages to find a Taxi. The location of hotel is very interior. You need to walk almost 2 km from hotel to get on the roads. Options for food is very limited and it is big no for vegeterians. Even available veg foods are not good. The location, the room.
