Riad Maia provided an excellent base for our two night stay in Taroudant. The French owners were lovely, though they spoke quite basic English (better than our non-existent French!), we enjoyed their welcoming personalities and good sense of humour. The bedroom and bathroom were perfectly clean, of generous size and well appointed. The riad was amazingly quiet and also featured a beautiful roof terrace - it was split over a couple of levels and adorned with cacti and plants, with several chairs.
all reviews » Lovely Riad in the Medina of Taroudant. We were the only guests and had the small room and an adjoining lounge to ourselves. The Riad is tastefully decorated, clean and quiet. Breakfast was good, and nearby there is a nice little restaurant the owners will be pleased to guide you to. The hosts were very friendly and had many helpful tips. Make sure you look at the map the Riad provides by email before you get to Taroudant, or else you may get lost. A beautiful riad, furnished with taste and care, in both the rooms and the many communal areas. The bed was one of the most comfortable we've slept in in Morocco. Breakfast included a delicious little smoothie. This is one of those places where you wished you had booked for longer than one night. Nb even though letsbookhotel.com says only wired internet, there is actually WiFi available. This is a great Riad which is an Oasis from the busy streets of Taroudant. The guys were great at helping us set up a taxi to pick us up from Agadir Airport and gave perfect tips for the area. The rooms were pretty large, clean and well furnished. The outside area and breakfast were better than many top hotels. The riad and its bedrooms are absolutely beautiful! The management are super helpful and their breakfast is quite yummy. The room facilities were superb and exceeded our expectations. The location is extremely conveniently located within the city walls of Taroudant. Outstanding. Furnished with great elegance and taste. Caring couple who run it, very valuable source of information (and very interesting to speak to). Food delicious (though evening meal not cheap). Pleasant suntrap on the roof. We hope to return. Wonderful riad, the room was really beautiful, large and had a good shower! The breakfast was also good and the owners are very friendly. The location was also good. Lutz, co-owner of the riad, was the perfect host. The riad was a delightful place to stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taroudant. Nothing!. Everything was great. Our room was a bit cold in January but for 10 months of the year that would be a major bonus!!. Nothing. Nothing. It was perfect.
