The hotel is in a quiet but I believe basically safe though somewhat dilapidated neighborhood.
That said, the hotel itself is as charming a place as you can imagine. Our room had a large terrace overlooking a small but lovely garden with a tile inlay pool.

We loved our stay here. Upon our arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the host with the present of a free upgrade to the best room in the house. The ambiance is relaxed and sophisticated, and the house is absolutely beautiful and perhaps in the best location of Tangier. We love it.

This is a beautiful little "dar" on the north side of Chefchaoen. We stayed in a triple and found it very affordable. Very easy walk up to the mosque, which we highly recommend.

Very good location. The property is well restored and tastefully decorated, with a beautiful fireplace in the communal area that was fired up each night of our stay. Oil heaters are supplied in the bedrooms to take the chill off winter nights. Owner and staff are superbly helpful - we booked multiple nights and received a very generous upgrade. private car and were unable to find our way to the entrance ....one of
the guys came down to the town....bopped in our car and led us to the
parking area and helped us take our bags to the Dar.
The breakfast is hearty and fresh...much more than a typical carb overload...and the ambiance is lovely; fireplace going in the chilly morning...great terrasse to relax and take the sun in the afternoon .

It's a very nice boutique hotel in Medina with extremely friendly people. You feel more like you are in a friend's house then a hotel. It has a great terrace with magnificent view! Don't miss out to watch the sunset there! I went there with a friend but I think its mostly ideal for couples. -

Rachida is a great host, relaxed, friendly, the b&b is unusual,
with traditionally built walls and thatch roof, very interesting lay
out with many areas to sit and relax. Storks live on the roofs. Food

The location was fantastic.
The terrace top roof was magic. The furnishings and rooms were lovely and we were so well looked after.
Tangier is a great place to visit especially if you want to experience something completely different. Fabienne was so welcoming and a fantastic host and we also had the pleasure of meeting her mother. We were made to feel like the house was our own, nothing was too much trouble and we were given great tips about where to eat and places to go.

The breakfast was delicious, the owner herself was brilliant and very helpful and friendly. The location is great for visiting the old medina and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. The design of the house and the garden resembles the true and historical image of how Tangier was a huge crossing point between Europe and Africa. Highly recommended.

Casa Hassan is outstanding, clean, friendly people and very artistic. I have stayed there on many occasions while living in Spain and would highly recommend it. Food is good in their downstairs restaurant and the entire riad is representing the artisanal of morocco. There is fire places in the bedrooms in the older hotel with heating! -
