    We loved our stay in Riad Houdou because of the beauty of the place, and the kindness and attention of Eric and Didier, the hotel proprietors, and all the lovely staff. I went with my two elderly aunts and we had a fantastic time. They made every effort to ensure that the place was comfortable and beautiful while respecting the Moroccan style and ... what people say » culture. They wanted to make us feel at home as their guests, but did not overwhelm us with attention and respected our space. Their kind / friendly r - From the start, we were made to feel very welcome. Even before we reached the hotel, the owners had worked out that our plane had been delayed (diverted to Agadir because of a sandstorm) and adjusted the evening meal for us. The ambience of the hotel was very relaxing, with a quiet courtyard and plunge pool for reflection and reading during the heat of the day. Flowers in all the rooms really did add something extra. And the turtles were a star attraction - role models for contemplation. Break

    Marrakech is a wonderful city and Dar Alif is a very good choice to stay.     We were efficiently collected from the airport and brought to the door of the Riad. From that moment we received the most outstanding service imaginable: we were greeted in person and offered refreshments to relax.     The Riad Milhourn was everything the pictures on the Internet portrayed. We found the room a little smaller than we expected and didn't have room for our luggage, however the en suite was spacious and well appointed and we were able to leave one suitcase there.     Riad Rafaele was the oasis we were looking for after a long drive back to Marrakech. Didier gave us a phenomenal welcome and an excellent recommendation for dinner.     Annabel and Pierre have a lovely spot at Casa Lalla. Annabel was wonderful in answering all of our questions beforehand. The open terrace was lovely and secluded; perfect for breakfast and sunbathing. The staff were very friendly and offered to arrange tours etc for us. The restaurant was a special treat with gorgeous French cuisine. The location is perfect; close enough to the medina to walk there easily but far enough away to be a quiet retreat.
