  Because of my job I travel on a weekly basis which means I stay a lot in hotels. I can honestly say that this has been one of the most wonderful experiences I have ever had. I can only warmly recommend this Riad. The staff and owners are very friendly and helpful (from making your stay as nice as possible as to organizing taxis etc.). The Riad is very cosy and the private room was - The staff was great, friendly and always smiling.The premises were clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was quite an assortment of pastries, yogurt, coffee and tea. The beds were the most comfortable of all the riads we stay at in Morocco. I felt at home and very comfortable.Even got my laundry done by the staff. I really appreciated all the help and assistance from the staff and owner. Great place to stay at again and again. I highly recommend Riad El Maati.

  The Riad is beautiful and we had a great room up on the terrace. Christine and her staff are very nice and helpful. The breakfast is more than sufficient in the morning with fresh squeezed OJ. The location is hard to find at night when we arrive but once we knew where it is, we go in and out like we live there. The place is furnished in beautiful mix of moroccan+modern design...I liked it a lot. There is a spacious rooftop where to have breakfast, which, by the way, is really good.   Very beautiful riad and well maintained. If you take a taxi from the train station, for locals it is 6dirham, foreigners 40 dirhams. If you schedule it via the riad, it is 100, but it will be more convenient so that you won't get lost getting there for the 1st time. While we were there a large group (not guests at the riad) arrived for dinner late... what people say » in the evening, which made us nervous as you can hear everything in your room and we had a very early departure the next day. We were nervous about g - Amazing location! Great decor. We felt like royalty here. Great breakfast! Had dinner one night here and it was amazing. We had a few drinks at the bar which were very affordable. Glad we asked staff for map of medina. Very helpful !
