Very quiet and relaxing environment to come back to after a busy day. The breakfast was fresh and light, perfect for the hot weather, and the bed was very comfortable (as was everything!). The design of the Riad is very stylish with traditional Moroccan artwork and a gorgeous roof terrace where we spent some lovely evenings. Whilst not all the staff speak much English, they are all incredibly friendly and helpful and made it a joy to be there. It is very good value for money, would definitely s.
all reviews » If you are planning a trip to Marrakech, you definitely have to book this Riad. Every time you enter the Riad it feels like coming home. The staff is friendly and helps you with everything. You have to try the hamam and the delicious food they are serving for lunch or dinner. The rooms are perfect with airco and a nice bathroom. Also the location is a plus because it's only 7 minutes from the main square. The last day we met the owners of the Riad and they were also very friendly. Because the R. We were warmly welcomed with tea and cookies by the family who owns the Riad, which created the feeling of being at home and at ease. They informed us about Marrakesh and gave us some advice. The small swimming pool was a nice refresher after our hot walks in the city. The Riad couldn't have had a better location. Only a 5 minute walk to the central square, which was quite nice being two girls travelling alone. A big riad with all facilities you need. they speak English as well and it offers a very good value for money experience. It is clean, with big rooms and with nice decorations. Not impossible to find but the signing can be better. It is at 10 minutes to walk from the main square. The staff was very friendly, we even got a piece of cake when one of the girls was celebrating her birthday. Really nice and good atmosphere and very helpfull staff. Breakfast very good. The hot tub is not included in the price of the room and you have to pay each time you want to use it. I had mistakenly thought terrace had a dip pool. This wasn't the case (an outdoor jacuzzi was available as part of spa facilities)so you had to walk to ground floor to sit in dip pool/bath. Not a problem just not expected. No real spa in the riad, as indicated in the review. Some treatments (massage etc.) can be ordered but with higher price than, for instance, in the hammam “Les Bains de Kabira” located in the same street. We lived in the 1st floor and woke up cause it was noisy during the breakfast. Location, I couldn't find it and it was impossible to access by car. So pick up from airport proved to be essential. Being hassled by the street kids who insisted they showed us the way even though they didn't. Not the Riad's fault but they did get us to pay them and I think they should be aware this is off putting for travellers.
