I stayed at this Riad for seven nights with my husband and two teenage children. We requested connecting rooms and were given a wonderful space – three rooms off a central corridor separated by curtains, a bathroom and a private terrace. There were two double beds and one single. The single was too short for my daughter so she repaired to the sofas in the communal seating area and set up bed there. The apartment was perfect for our needs. We each had privacy but were together and there was plen.
all reviews » When my friends and I were planning a trip to marrakech, because we are all women, not so young, we had to find a good location and not expensive and could accomodate our group of 11 persons. Luckily we found this Riad, which are nicely located, near to touristic places. The hotel is clean and nicely decorated and the young man working there, Hamzah, was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was very good, and we had dinner there for birthday party of our friends. Although the food of dinner wa. The staff were very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Our room was very nice, lots of space and the air con unit provided needed warmth in the evening. It was cleaned and tidied on a daily basis. Breakfast round the pool in the morning was very nice, something slightly different every day including some delicious pancakes. Set in a great location to explore the Madina, very easy to find. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again. Beautiful Rhiad in a great position in the Medina in Marrakech. Very disappointed as when we arrived our booking via letsbookhotel.com had not been received although I had received confirmation from letsbookhotel.com. I am pretty sure the owner had made a mistake although she did try to help us. It ruined our trip as we had to spend one night at this beautiful Rhiad and then trundle through the streets to move. Very friendly atmosphere, the rooms differ in size. We strated with a smaller and less charming one and ended with a lovely large one. Large bathrooms as well. The place is run like a family business. A tour operator is there to give advice without forcing anybody to book trips with him. They do their best to make people happy. the staff really lovely and very helpful. we had trouble with our flight arriving late and lost baggage. the riad driver waited 6 hours at airport for us and the hotel staff are so kind and helped us really went out of their way. fantastic place to stay. This hotel is an oasis of calm in the old part of the city. Our room was spacious beautifully decorated with a totally luxurious bathroom. Big pool for a riad. great location in the heart of Marrakech but peaceful once you get inside. Hamza very helpful if you are English speaking. The Riad Dar Alfarah is a very impressive stylish Riad hotel with beautiful rooms and is run by Florence, a lovely French lady. I would certainly stay again when in Marrakech. The rooms quite spacious, but a little bit dim, choice of colors a bit dark and no television except at salon, WIFI was not working except near reception. If you open the window, you could hear the noises from the street. The only slight down side was the plastic sheet covering the opening for the courtyard but that was due to the time of year and was needed. Everything was great. The fact that we had to move and although the staff tried to help us and were helpful, it ruined our holiday. Do not expect luxury but a charming relaxed-chic place. The pictures in letsbookhotel.com were misleading - like, there is no hamam in riad. Wifi available only nearby reception, nowhere else in riad. Pool is more like outdoor pool (not usable for swimming during "winter" - cold). Everything the room was huge and very clean. I loved having breakfast by the pool each day and the staff were amazingly helpful. We were offered dinner on arrival because are flight got in late evening and it was fabulous - truly Moroccan. The staff also offered a pick up service which we had taken care of but really nothing was too much trouble. Stop looking around and book this RIAD its everything you see in the pictures and more when it comes to personality and service. Ontging. No english speaking daytime staff. the cockroaches.
