  What a great place! We too were upgraded to a larger room because the hotel was not full. My wife and I stayed for 4 nights and couldn't be happier. The included breakfast was wonderful especially the fresh orange juice, Moroccon coffee, fresh pastries and more. The tile work, decor and small touches in the hotel are wonderful too. Our first night we ate in the hotel and it - Staff was great (especially Mustafá)! We were 2 couples and we reserved suite amina, but since Hotel wasn't full they upgraded us to 2 beautiful and confortable bedrooms (with great bathroom) in a house just in front of the main building, witch had all facilities corresponding to the main building including wireless wich worked very well! Location is near Bab Guissa, wich is very convenient if you have a car, since you can leave it in the park (not free) just outside medina and walk just a bit

  A delightful stay with wonderful and friendly staff. Location is away from the hustle and bustle which was a nice reprieve and handy to get to with a vehicle. Dinner was amazing and well worth the price (we are dinner there twice - the Tagine was fabulous). Breakfast was also lovely. A very pleasant atmosphere and a highlight of our trip to Morocc... what people say » o. We had a suite which was a good size, - Luxury Ryad, beautifully furnished with very good breakfast. The staff is nice and helpful. I recommend to have a dinner in the Ryad - the cooking is excellent. The location near a door of the Medina allowed to arrive by car or taxi without getting lost. A good choice at a decent price.

  The ryad is absolutely beautiful and a peaceful oasis from the madness of the medina just outside. The staff were wonderful, and the owner was very helpful in giving us advice on enjoying our stay. He organized our pickup and return to the train station and also a side trip we took. The gourmet dinner we had in the ryad was fantastic. - The Ryad Salama is as perfect as it gets, beautiful location, garden with peaceful fountain and gorgeous Moroccan decor, beautifully appointed rooms, amazingly talented and hands on owner who is also a gourmet chef, who made my wife and I the most amazing 5 course dinners each night. We can't rave about our experience there enough! Hats off to Michel, an extremely hard-working owner who makes it all seem effortless!!!!

They offered us good useful information on how to discover Fes.   We stayed in Riad Jean Claude for two nights in October. We booked the Fes twin room because this was the only one available. Like the Meknes room this room is situated on the highest floor of the Riad. The room has a private terrace which gives you a great view over the Fes medina. The room was quite small but offered just enough space for our lu... what people say » ggage. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The bathroom had a good shower and all facilities we needed. But there is - Jean Claude was the most helpful friendly host you could possibly find. He collected and dropped us off at the bus station and helped us with onward tickets. The riad was in an excellent location very close to the medina but just far enough away to be quiet. The swimming pool was great to have after a hot day exploring. The delicious breakfast was served in a lovely garden setting and the view from the balcony was spectacular
