Staff were lovely, some of the nicest I have dealt with anywhere -polite an helpful and very attentive. A very well run operation in that respect. The room was spacious and well equipped, more functional than luxurious (not necessarily the standard you'd expect form Kempinski, but still very good for Mongolia). Non-smoking was available and the hotel worked hard to accommodate my location request on a higher floor (traffic outside is mad and noisy!). Great selection of complimentary TV channels.

Standard of service is great which you would find rare in Ulaanbaatar compare to other service sectors. We liked the rooms bigger room that we had first as the second time we stayed there the temperature in the room was better meaning not as hot but it seemed to lack a few things eg. There where no scales in the bathroom just little things like that. The staff make this hotel worth staying at. They are all truly amazing, so professional, friendly and helpful. Japanese teppanyaki restaurant is very good. Rooms are comfortable, and facilities very good in room. Excellent and most helpful staff. Lovely room, well appointed. Fast turn-round laundry. Goodwill Mongolian Staff. Its a minor moan, but the internet (wired and wi-fi) was hit and miss, and it did restrict my ideal business working pattern a little. That said the hotel was fully booked and I think the routers just couldn't handle the volume of traffic. A little patience and I managed to work around peak times. Also its not quite as close to the center of the City as some of the other hotels, 20 mins walk, but then again the traffic is so mad its probably just as quick to walk it!. I cannot say that there was anything that we didn't like as all four of us would stay there again and we recommend it to others. Distance from City was inconvenient, its not that far but the traffic is horrendous, so it added considerable time to our days. However, I will feel guilty if I stay in centre next trip as the all the staff made us so welcome. Nothing. If you need to go to the center traffic can cause you to spend some time on the road. Staff does not speak and understand English language , especially in the restaurant and bring to order other dishes. Poor-quality cooking in the restaurant. There have been cases of complications in digestion.
