We were happy with port palace 100 per cent...it was everything the reviews said it would be...great service, fantastic views of mariner, in centre of town and you can catch the number 100 bus to Nice for 2 euro return trip...for a scenic drive along the coastline....take your camera the views are great. I we ever get back to Monte Carlo we most certainly would stay at Port Palace again. The stuff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious as well as the bathroom. The bed was very large and comfortable. Good quality products for breakfast, also real freshly grounded coffee from the bar for breakfast. Good seafood restaurant on the top floor though expensive. Location with nice marina view.

The staff were great and couldn't have been more helpful - we had our bank card swallowed by an ATM and they managed to get it back from the bank and then mailed to our next hotel for us to pick up. most of all the staff! Specially the woman resepsionist ! She was the best that i have met , many years in the hotels. i always stay at HOTEL DE PARIS and now i Change my mind because of the excellent stuff! Also it was grade the location and breakfast. We got in late and got upgraded to their penthouse suite, we paid about €500 for one night which probably should have been €3000 considering the suite we got to stay in. 150ms, steam room, jacuzzi etc it was a great experience Thanks. The staff were amazing and very friendly. I was celebrating my 30th birthday with a group of 10 friends and the hotel kindly upgraded all 5 rooms and made our stay an exceptional one. We will be visiting again. Thank You. We were upgraded to a deluxe room with a spa bath. Also the room was huge, more like a suite and very comfortable. The location was great and so was the view of all those luxury yaughts. Very enjoyable stay. Clean room. No ad smell. Bath clean. Close to mc casino and other attraction. If you are looking to spend a lot of time in the room tv only has 2 news channel in english and no ppv. 100% recommended. We have not stayed here before as we normally stay at the Fairmount. They were booked out so we stayed at Port Palace. In future trips to Monte Carlo we will always stay at at Port Palace. I liked the location it's in front of the port with all the luxury yachts and with a walking distance to the center of Monte Carlo and the casino. No tea or coffee in standard double rooms, you have too book the can at additional cost. Next time, and there will be a next time I will request a room on an upper floor. I was on the first floor which resulted in a poor view of the harbor. I didn't like the breakfast room which was very small and inside the lobby. A late 3pm check in, otherwise no issues. Nothing really except the Russian receptionist. The reception staff couldn't find our booking. 1 time I had holes in my clean sheets!. Everything was perfect!. I didn't like that we couldn't stay longer. According to the site the room was supposed to have a "spa bath" with it didn't have, just a shower. After bringing this to the staffs attention it turned out that they considered the shower handle to be the "spa bath". It was also completely forbidden to bring any outside food or drinks into your room, each offence would cost you €20. And the Internet connection worked so poorly that it was unusable. The rooftop restaurant, although spectacular was not value for money. The food and service was good but for the money spent I expected exceptional, not good. We were unable to have breakfast on the terrace overlooking the harbour' although the weather was good. Also it had stated in the information that breakfast would be served there. The breakfast area inside appeared to be make shift and not set up for its purpose. The terrace bar does not seem to be a hotel facility. Terrace bar no Wi- Fi Terrace bar cannot charge to the room. Noise (during GP weekend) from adjacent 'party' yachts, prices (!). Day Staff could of been a little more helpful. Staff in the restaurant were overwhelming when we were first seated. We wanted time to look at the menu to work out what we would like to eat and drink but were unindated with staff during these opening minutes. no swimming pool not possible to get coffee at night. Nothing. The lobby area looks like a 3* hotel, it is very tiny and reception is as well. No fruits or flowers as a welcome in the room. Water already filled in the coffee machine and therefore not fresh. Bathroom design not great for a 5*. they are restylong the restaurant,the breakfast area is the lobby, very crammed and limited choice because limited space. new restaurant will be ready on the 1st of april. not having any tea/coffee making facilities. asked for kettle and got one but had to keep asking for cups. Lights in bath did not work-wish breakfast included in rate. rude attitude in service, without outside breakfast in the roof anymore. Inflexible staff and inefficient customer service I.E. phone request room service forgotten about, never arrived. nothing.
