  Azulik is a magical, magical place. Though at first it was a bit jarring to find that the reception area was a laptop hooked up to a generator, this is actually where its magic lay. As you traverse a densely vegetative path to get to your rooms, you quickly know you're getting yourself into something out of the ordinary. It was so romantic, especially as we had to use candle light after the sun set. Really loved having outside baths whilst taking in the breathtaking sea views (advise mosquito repellent!!). We particularly enjoyed being braced by the warm sea breeze whilst sitting on our private balcony. Felt thoroughly relaxed lounging on the swings too. Fantastic location near to great restaurants and stunning beaches.

  - Amazing food, everything fresh and home cooked - Awesome room, windows opened to the breeze, flat screen tv (but we never needed to turn it on) - Very relaxing- secluded beach. I don't normally join many group exercise or entertainment activities but I loved it here. The resort is 7km north of the Tulum ruins, so you can easily visit from there. Also the casa cenote which is only a short bike ride down the road is worth a visit - the resort has free bike rental by the way! It's a new resort that has just opened so there may not be many reviews yet but I would definitely recommend. I can't wait to return here mys
