We stayed in the 'Titanic' room which seems to be the best - great sea views and a private balcony. It's a fairly relaxed place, not much in the way of service but there are plenty of decent restaurants nearby. The location of Posada del Sol Tulum is outstanding. The beach front rooms are just steps to the beach. Beautifully decorated rooms, comfortable beds, nice linens, and good breakfast. Very friendly service.

The perfect place to relax on the beach off the beaten path. Rustic but ideal. Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous I would recommend this hotel to anyone!. room design location. Location. Breakfast was good. The location on the beach and the wood construction, lovely to hear the sea and watch wildlife. Plenty of very determined mosquitos - the combination of netting over the bed and burning mosquito coils didn't seem to deter them one bit. I have nothing bad to say except if you don't like "eco-chic boutique" don't go to Tulum. The room we were in did not have a sound barrier to the bathroom , toilet was in a cubby but essentially using the bathroom in the same room as partner. road noise lack of bathroom door. Often no water in shower and it tasted salty. Too expensive for what you get. The basic breakfast, and even though it's beautifully designed it somehow lacks character.
