We liked everything about the Itour. If we have to write all the things we liked, first of all, the staff is fantastic. They treat guests as their true friends. We felt very sad leaving there. Marco, Daniele, Alma, Alma's brother and their team. Truely amazing people. They will do everything they can to make you feel at home. Second, rooms are simple but super clean. Usually when we stay at hotels or other accomondations, we have to clean to make ourselves feel comfortable. But never this place.
all reviews » We stayed for one night on July 2013. Itour is right in a busy intersection, in front of supermarket, very close to Tulum archeological site, the beaches and a few blocks from local restaurants. We parked our rental car in front and were greeted by staff that was already expecting us. The staff was cheerful and responsive to our needs; they gave excellent suggestions about what to do and where to eat. Itour has very few rooms, ours was very clean, and had one window. It comfortably met the re. Very pleased with the service provided, many useful suggestions from Marco. The location is perfect if you want to visit Tulum ruins and to go to the public beaches. The bike rental is included in the price and is very handy to get yourself to the ruins and to the beaches. The room was very tidy and clean with great design and was smartly organized: plenty of storage space! Great breakfast all'italiana, very nice cappuccino and a croissant (ham and cheese or jam). Just in front of the hotel the. The staff was extremely personable and friendly. They made us feel welcome and comfortable serving us coffee and making sure we were comfortable. The hotel is like a cool little oasis on a busy street. Itour packs a big personality punch. Quirky signs and personalized rooms depict different Mexican "celebrities" I'll leave them a mystery! The room was clean, large, and the sound from the street was blocked so we slept well! It may be located on a street but it's a key location close to the ruin. They were "over the top" helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome. When our plans fell through on an excursion to Coba, Pasquale made a quick call to a Taxi driver he knew and got us a private tour of not only Coba but to any cenote(s) of our choice! Our 5 year-old son had a blast. The staff, without exception, treated us like we were the only guests they had to concern themselves with. ITOUR will be our pick when we go back to Tulum. Like other reviews stated, the staff here really makes the difference. They are genuine in wanting you to have a good time and to feel comfortable at the hotel. I loved the themed rooms. Alma does a great job of designing the rooms. The coffee is excellent. You are close to town and to beach as long as you are in decent shape you can walk or bike to either. The location also makes it easy to do day trips by bus/car. It was really nice that bikes were included. The location is great! Just 15 min by bicicles (which are given to you at the hotel for free) to the ruines/ fantastic beaches/ cenotes. The map is given to you at the arrival and you can get any advise where to go not only in Tulum, but you'll be helped to plan your further trip in Yucatan. Marco, the owner, is just a fantastic guy! Everything is done with aspiration and every detail is thought over! And a tasty coffe :). An amazing place.... Large room... Massive king sized bed... So so clean... Absolutely spotless! Staff are lovely really go out I their way to help you! It's in a nice part of Tulum down just down the road from the ruins... You get a bike which is lovely to cycle to the beach on... It's nice to stay in the town as you get to explore the town and the beaches. I would def recommend staying here!. Arriving at 2 in the night was no problem. The pressure in the shower wasn't great, so it took me a long time to get my hair rinsed after user shampoo or conditioner... but it wasn't really an issue!. Hmmm the only thing that would've made it better is if it was located on a beach! :). Only complaint I had was there was no shelf in bathroom for your toiletry items. There are big groups that come on tours and have a coffee at the hotel before starting the your in the morning and sometimes they would wake me up... But this was at 9am so I should have been already out if bed! Ha!. Location in busy intersection, sometimes the noise was a nuisance but generally not. No body wash Not a big deal but didnt have any myself !!. Nothing major to mention as a downside. Maybe a little noisy but not as noisy as I thought it might be. The only minor complaint is that I would have appreciated more water pressure in the shower. Hot water was adequate for washing, but not for luxuriating in a hot shower. This hostel was really a great good surprise for us. Unfortunatelly it was rainning all the time, but this is not their fault!. This place was perfect for us, it met all of our needs and we loved staying in the pueblo, riding bikes, and eating at different local restaurants, the beaches were beautiful and the ruins magnificant...truly a wonderful vacation!! No complaints!. No complaints at all!. If you are a couple and going to stay long- take something more comfort and close to the sea. Pricing variance was hard to figure out when we wanted to return. - busy on the morning because a lot of people from outside the hotel come for the italian breakfast!. Nothing specific to mention. It was only a bit far from the center but it doesn't matter cause you have got the bikes and Tulum is such a small town anyways. Location is by a large intersection slightly off the main part of town. we liked it all!. The platform of the bed is part of the raised floor that could kill your toe, if you kick it by accident. The floor is very slippery when wet. Since it's located at a cross, there was so much noise and work around the hotel. -It was a bit noisy (from the street and the groups that apparently use the hotel as a meeting point). -Breakfast can be improved! -Location is ok if you have a car. Nothing. It was brilliant for the price. Nothing. The only drawback of iTour is that it is about a 5 min drive, or 20 min bike ride from the beach. No room safe. Quite a lot of noise from traffic. There could be hammocks at the hotel area. everything was perfect. Road near make a lot of noice. not walking distance to beach.
