Beautiful and stylish hotel, with historic patio and well-equipped, spotless and elegantly furnished rooms. Excellent service, friendly and helpful staff. Very good WiFI connection when I was there. Restaurant 1620 with Mexican cuisine with a modern touch highly recommended (service can be a bit slow, though). Nice but pricey roof-top bar (appears to be quite "in" at the moment, thus reservation recommended). Convenient central location (Zocalo and Zona Rosa in walking distance, Hidalgo metro s.

As others have pointed out, unfortunately the (soft) music from the patio, the (more energetic) music from the roof-top bar until 2 am, and noise from setting up the breakfast in the patio in the early morning penetrate into the rooms (which are arranged around the patio). Unless you are a sound sleeper, bring ear-plugs. The hotel and restaurant are overpriced and over rated. The Bookings price was very good though. Not quiet. Missing some details, like some guide in the room to hotel services and room service. Could have used area rugs in rooms. No atmosphere in the hotel. Very quiet. Food in restaurant not great and expensive. Roof top bar should be open all week to increase atmosphere. The "loud speakers playing disco music through the night. 4 nights and 3 days of non-stop fire crackers cracking to celebrate San Judas Tadeo, in the nearby church...;). - We were two and it took as two day to get two small towels / two bathrobes and shower gel - DVD player did not work proberly. Having to ask for coffee, towels, and other things. Friday & Saterday evenings are quite noisy up to 02.00 am. There was nothing we really didn't like about the hotel. nothing serious to complain about. Can be a bit loud. there is A disco around the perimeter of the rooftop which is immediately above guest rooms on level 2. it operates till 2am in the morning making it impossible to sleep. Room service was slow . House keeping done late ( perhaps lack of sufficient personal ). Shower and tub accessibility very slippery .
