I liked everything about the hotel, the building is great, the room is excellent and the view just breathtaking. The staff = very, very friendly, efficient and wellcoming which is just what anyone might need. The beach might not be the best beach in Cancun when the sea is not calm but that doen not affect the hotel. I did eat at Gustino twice so good it is, in fact it is superb! Julio is a great, great, efficient and friendly waiter, in my opinion he is an asset to the m Group. The chef deserve.
all reviews » Almost everything, the hotel was very nice, the beachfront rooms and seafront rooms definetely worth the extra - the ocean view is breathtaking. The halls are very nice colonial style. Room is quite nice too, but nothing special - as in every good hotel. Breakfast was very good - the wide range of choices, including some japanese and oriental choices, although almost the same every day. The staff was skilled and ready to help. The location is convinient for us - it is on the beach, a bit far . Wonderfully kind, helpful and efficient staff, great swimming pool. Excellent location (I was always picked up and dropped off for tours first as opposed to others with hotels farther down), very comfortable and very clean room. I am extremely pleased with my stay--thank you CasaMagna! 5 star service at affordable prices. One of my favorite hotels ever!. I didn't like, I LOVED everything about my stay at CasaMagna Marriott! No free WIFI in the hotel (the free one in the lobby does not really work). There was nothing I didn't like or can think of for me to complain about!. Cancun is still quite expensive Very touristy place. Poor soundproofing between rooms and corridors (galleries). Early in the morning the staff very noisily served breakfast in the garden gallery. Noisy and disturbing private functions on the beach (I understand that the hotels have the right to earn money in their own way). London prices. WiFi charge. Ripoff taxi from airport ( 600 pesos vs 300 pesos to return). Checkin was very slow and although we arrived around 12pm... checkin wasn't until 4pm our room wasn't ready till just after 5. Wifi is free but pretty much useless reception. Nothing to relate. The lack of places to go to (bars and restaurants) walking distance away.
