The hotel gives the bang for the buck. It is reasonably priced considering the fact that I stayed in a family room and during peak season too. It is quite clean too.
The room was spacious and the bathroom was excellent. I will consider staying there again if the negative point is addressed.

Its on the main road in tana rata, so bus station, agencies to book trips around the cameron highlands and lots of food possibilities or laundry places are very close.the staff was friendly and helpful, as always in malaysia! All in all a satisfying stay.

The weather in Cameron is good. The hotel is near to most eateries but
is noisy in the evening right up to wee hours.

Since it is located on main road at the city center. There were a lot of noisy traffic even in late evening. My family and my sleep were disturbed by this noisy traffic. I would not recommend this hotel for those who are looking for some peace and quiet. Planters Inn is definitely not my idea of peace and quiet.
The bed is too old which needs the be changed; it can cause backache.

it was pretty noisy at night. The room was only made at around 5 pm, and that only included the making of the bed. the bathroom or our coffee mugs remained in the same state as before.
the toilet was bit dirty on the roof n smelly.
Location: Indian restaurant situated directly below. Since there is no aircondition , we need to open the window for fresh air. And we can smell all those restaurant cooking below. And indian food is very fragrant until it became an issue for us. Luckily we only stay 1 night.

Bedbugs, we stay 3night 4 days for our trip, but sleep uncomfortable for the last 2nights, cos we found out the bed is dirty and my friend bites by bedbugs and couldn't have a good sleep.
Shower Heater, we have to open for more than 5 mins to let the water get warm. wasting water right..

RM 280 I can rent apartment with 3 queen beds but here provide bad quality bed yet the environment is noisy.Once you close up window to make noise low, it is hot in the room and no choice to open back the window. Totally cannot sleep well. Bad hotel with high price!.
The hotel is overpriced for Ringgit $200. There is no water heater in
the room. The room has stale smell. There are insects like ants and some
even on the bed not to mention cockroach in the balcony. The towels were
very old. Will not recommend for stay At All!.
very noisy as hotel is by road side/main road. far away commercial activities like Brinchang. frontline staff was not friendly. would not stay again.
