The hotel staff were amazing! Helpful, thoughtful, polite and all with a smile. The rooms were lovely - tastefully decorated. The hotel was enormous! And the buildings themselves were beautiful, particularly with the gardens and water features interspaced between and around them. The hotel had different theme for buildings (chinese, Borneo, Indian, and Malay) which make it fun to walk around and enjoy the sight. The staff is very friendly and helpful. On the side of a lake. Free transport to / from the city center. Free Internet. place is wonderful especially when making your morning walk around the lake. price is very good to the services provided staff are very pleasent and helpful close to the airport but you'll end up paying 75-80 RM to the taxi (if reserved by hotel). Wonderful building..good environment with fresh viewing of lake side..very comfortable room with nice balcony..beautiful bathroom with good conditional shower..the staff very respectful and beautiful dressing..clean and clear compound... The staff are so friendly and humble. The outdoor facilities such as cycling, karaoke, kid's club room are very interesting. Their smiles really make my family feel at ease. We decided to extend our stay. The apt which I stayed was nice modern design with ample space and high ceiling Internet is very fast Very quiet... high privacy Check in/out was a breeze Overall architecture is fantastic!. Getting around the hotel can be a little confusing for a first timer The bathroom sliding door was always stuck and can be a little irritating at times. Breakfast menu should add more varieties. It is far from Kuala Lumpur, if you plan to spend most of your time in KL it would be better to stay in KL, however, going to KL is not that difficult. Though the staff is friendly and helpful, it took me a long walk from my room to the lobby to ask for change of my access card. I also has to walk quite a bit to the hotel's restaurant..which kinda inconvenienced me a bit because I would rather having breakfast or meals in a place which is nearer to my room..rather than walking to another block. I would be lost if there is no proper signage stating the place. The parking spot provided wasn't well lit, may be dangerous if alone at night. Food nice but too expensive !. We stayed here for a night between flights. The hotel is about half an hour by taxi from the airport, which is a bit far for a stopover. It is also a bit soulless. The slow check-in process. Very limited shuttle service to Alamanda. Management should increase the frequency of the shuttle service. Swimming pool : No towels available when we were there. We went back to our room with the two kids (a toddler and a baby) shivering :(. The buffet breakfast was moderate. This hotel is not in the Garmin database, so was difficult to find. The facility was really not up to standard. They have a pool which rather small, a game room which is not complete. Example: foosball table without the ball, pool table without the cue tip. None. Hotel only provide executive cabs for hire which are double the normal rate, they should also provide budget taxis. It is really too quiet. Sometimes it's what you need, but not that quiet, like you are the only person in the hotel. 1) room phone cannot contact service desk. 2) signs / direction to the room are not clear. 3) shower head leaking from the top joint. The layout of the hotel was very confusing. Each 'wing' was an individual unit (reached via enclosed 'bridges') and navigating from a room to a specific facility (swimming pool, restaurant, etc) was an unexpectedly difficult experience. I felt that a map would be a necessary item to receive at check-in!. maintance needed for the shower tap and a little dusty in the bathroom. We had an incredible scene as we were trying to have dinner on the terrace, little hungry kittens appeared from nowhere. Cute in normal circumstances but not quite when they were trying to get into the restaurant to get food. Swimming pool disappointing on second floor with small surrounding area. none. A new section of the MRT is being constructed on Bencoolen Street right in front of the residence. The staff communication skill to be improve... Buffet was costly but the tastes of food need to be improved generally. Varieties of food were satisfactory. The mattress wasn't a clean one I guess. Felt itchy and couldn't sleep well. The TV Sticky wooden floor. No taxis and much resturants. Waiting for our room even though we made prior booking. Tried making a booking at the spa but there was no one at the reception desk all day, and the front desk couldn't book an appointment for me. Ended up not getting any treatment, despite having just run a marathon!. The rooms are faraway from loopy.
