It's a once-a-lifetime experience living above water...and the kids were excited to see the tides changes each day. It's a thumb up in all areas:). it is beautiful but too many flies. I would have prefered if it was cheaper as the price was at par with hotels in KL ie Hilton, Crowm Intercontinental. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the hotel staffs were courteous.Facilities,chicken feeding.the eating places outside your hotel is better. the gym needs refurbishement.Scenery from the bedroom. it is nice to have the pet garden inside the hotel, nice swimming pools as well. Nothing apart from it always being hard to book.It feels like a chalet with hotel services...well the price could be lowered considering the ongoing recession. More activities for the kids could be offered like waterplays, castel building at beach for the kids etc.Extra charge for additional 1person. perhaps the room rate can be made more affordable.Roof Leaking as it was raining. staffs are not well trained, service was bad. expensive but not really value for money.

The resort is designed along the concept of a traditional Malay fishing village with its architecture and finishes manifesting the influence of Malay and South East Asia culture in an eclectic mood. This unique resort has won the Excellence Award in Architecture by Persatuan Arkitek Malaysia (PAM) in the year 2000.

Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. A damage deposit of MYR 100 is required on arrival. This will be collected as a cash payment. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full in cash, subject to an inspection of the property. From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. The name on the credit card used for the booking should correspond to the guest staying at the property. Reservations made by a third party are not allowed. We would like to inform you that our aVi Lounge will be undergoing maintenance as part of our aVi Care project on 3rd & 4th September.
