not far from the beach, only like an 8 minute walk; we were greeted by a very polite young man who could not do enough to help us; check-in process was smooth, but no credit cards accepted (have cash ready); rooms were simple but the zircon worked, showers were hot, breakfast (even though not the most delicious) was fine (it filled a hole); no major issues.
value for money and quiet the staff is also great and this is my 2nd time in sweet inn i would recommend it. -jak and poy. all reviews »
Location - very short walk to the beach and restaurants.
Is okay all. The location is great, just a short walk from the main beach. Although our room was small for a family of six, there is a nice covered courtyard area outside the room where we could play games and relax. The fan, AC, lights and shower worked as expected. the hotel is clean,and cheaper compare to any other hotel.breakfast was served even though it wasn't much of variety. room very clean, even they provide basic stuff .. n walking distance to the beach 5 to 10mins.
Staffs there was very good and kind. Special bonus was breakfast (even it wasn't very good and tasty)
This hotel is a perfect place for several nights stay. Quite good location for this money, but in the nights you can get lost because the area is dark.
There are a lot of restaurants bars and cafes on the main street of Langkawi which is about 5 min walk from hotel. In general, its good place in conditions of saving money. Clean room, hot water shower are benefits of this motel also.
Location. It is very close to the Pantai chanang main road( less than 5 min walk)
If you are on a tight budget and can do with only basic facilities this is a very good motel.
Its nice motel very near the beach and a lot of restaurants and shops.

for me, sweet in was a place just good for resting after a long day... there was no plan to stay in as there is not much there... there are sufficient facilities to get by..
there was an electricity blackout during a thunder storm (to be expected during the rainy season in langkawi) but this was nothing to do with the motel; there was one younger malay woman who always looked very sour-faced but she didn't say anything to us/was not rude etc. We found a dead mosquito in one of the beds, again to be expected in a tropical climate (just check before you get in).
the bedsheet kinda old.
Could have been a bit cleaner.
But hang out the cloths is not enough good. The sheet on our bed didn't seem to be quite big enough, so it would come off at night. The toilet tank didn't always refill properly.
Very poor wifi connection inside rooms. Computer - is the only one gadget that is able to catch internet connection.
Cleaning servise is an extra servise.
Also they dont accept cards, only cash.
Walking distance to the beach.
Bathroom could have been cleaner.
Could have kept the corridors bit more cleaner.
Very cloud because its place 'family frendly' and there is a lot of children which are very noisy in all night.
Wifi is not strong in room.
Reception staff @ pm shiff should provide good hospitality and
politeness to their guess.
i hate the breakfast (worst) there as it is prepared without love/care for the customers...
the bed has a weird kind of smell...
there is no room cleanup as i was there for 3 days.. i asked why at the front desk and they say they only did it every 2days...
Dew cannot comment on this motel as when we arrived, after booking confirmation, our room had no power and we were transferred to the owners uncles motel down the road. This motel, the valley inn was ok, a bit far out from the centre, but clean and ok room.
