We had an amazing stay. If you would really want to get away from your busy schedule and not think about work, this is the place. People at the resort were very friendly and the owner went around to every table during lunch and dinner to ask us if everything was okay. Rooms were spacious and clean. This resort had the best food in the island so a lot of tourists from other resorts came over for lunch and dinner. Overall it was amazing and would definitely like to go back there again.

Well kept beach with crystal clear water and I like the fact that it is not packed with people, and really away from buzz. Food were prepared with sincerity and although not luxurious, is definitely one of the best among islands off east coast of Johor. There were beatiful relaxing days, you have seaside for You own, service is exellent, the rooms are confortable, everything perfect! But there are really nothing exept beach and sun, if You are looking for action, You should choose another islend!. Great location - on the beach with white sand. Food is good but breakfast could be better (more choice). There is a colony of bats on the tree in hotel's garden and you can watch their behavior. staff was very friendly, everything was just fine. good price, food was excellent, great location near the beach with clear blue water ocean. better than expected. Beautiful place for rest and relaxation. Stay was perfect. Lovers of action can rent kayaks, diving equipment or go to the jungle. Location! Food is ok, but there is no variety to choose from. Beach and ocean are very nice. Location of the villas and territory around them is very nice and looked after. Villas themselfs inside are ok, but nothing special. Overall - nice place to stay in for several days to run away from urbanization but in my opinion - very overpriced. Fantastic location, well organised shuttle to the island. Close to Mersing (20-30 min by boat). Great beach. The food is ok, drinks not too expensive. location, nice beach. The proximity to the Mirage another resort where I dined most nights. There was a caterpiller in the room but not like we mind it too much. The room needs some up-keep. Especially in terms of air-conditioning and toilet (lots of ants). partly as the room is not really sealed off (there are gaps in the windows etc - which is great in the day for some natural breeze but a little bit of struggle at night due to mosquitoes and air conditioning). However given the budget, it is still one of the best stay I had found among Johor islands. Construction site (new jetty) near the hotel was noisy all day. No mosquito nets on the windows. There is a colony of bats on the tree in hotel's garden and they can be very loud and boring. Hotel stuff's very poor in English. Wifi only in the restaurant. The bed-clothes and towels were durty. Asked personal to replace - were told that all bed-clothes and towels they have are like that due to washing??? At night we were getting bitten by something and couldn't figure out if it were gnats and other little brutes or some bed bugs - when we stoped using thay blankets it got better, prices for alcohol at the bar - what can I say, the guy is making money considering the fact that there is no competition around there. One of the nights we had a lot of noice from the neighbours (kareoka?). The construction of a new jetti peer spoiles the view a bit at this moment, we also had a bit of noice of that yard, but if you walk a few hundred meters on the beach, you don't see or hear anything any more. They should have given spontaneously a little rebate or other compensation. poor breakfast, even worse lunch. No place to relax and read a book or browse on the net comfortably. A couch or 2 with Cushions would be nice, in the public area. The food was uninteresting and the breakfast a joke.
