This is a truly Hostel, in the original way. Staff is very friendly and helped us every time we had an issue. The atmosphere is very Malaysian, and you fill special inside this hostel. They have also bicycle to rent, if you want, but don't forget, the traffic is really hard in Malacca. We felt like HOME, not as in a hotel. Everything is very familiar. We recommend this hostel. Very friendly staff, comfortable and clean rooms, quite location, many sights nearby. Good place to make friends from other countries. Free breakfast and fast WiFi, drinks and snacks for sale, also have good music. I would stay again ! TQ.
all reviews » it's an old shophouse renovated into a hostel. it is always good to stay in something with a touch of history on it. there is a tv, wifi, helpful receptionist and owner, and it not too close nor too far from the attractions. Very friendly staff and comfy beds. Clean, welcoming, good and cheap food, EXCELLENT shakes and budget-friendly!. The staff is really great! The rooms has open walls at the top of the room but wasn't a problem for us. hard to find. Unfortunately the walls are "open" at the top, so you can hear the others talking at night..but no worries about that. The walls really should be "closed". They don't allow sleepers in toilet. Quite loud, as the walls are very thin and not from the bottom to the top the bed was not so confortable. toilet can be improved. Location. Food. Since they are new, i think the staffs need to have a proper uniform. I was mistakenly asked to wrong person. And also bath rooms can be improved.,. It's not real air-condition room , actually it's called air-opened room because there are ventilator on up-room wall.it's seem like you stay in fan room. and quite far from famous place (Jonker street,A famosa and others). whatever they mentioned in the website is not true, they said attached bathroom in the king room but its not, breakfast was a slice of toasted bread and black coffee (seriously?) and they have a mosquito farm over there, no toiletories available.
