The location. It is great because just across is The Pavillion, our favourite shopping jaunt.The staff. They were very helpful and friendly. They let us check in immediately upon arrival at noon even though the check in time is after 3 pm and let us extend the check out time until 4 pm; the staff at The Bussiness centre let us use the fax machine free of charge which was really a great help. The room. Spacious with very comfortable beds. Cleanliness is up to our standard and the extras like suf.
all reviews » We stayed in Westin for 3 nights 4th - 7th Oct 2013. The hotel is a 5 starts, staff friendly and always smiling. The breakfast is amazing with a lot of variety I really love it specially the bakery section was really lovely Room is specious and clean Kids club is nice but not for free 20 MR for the first hour then 15 MR per hour The hotel is in the heart of shopping area opposite there Pavillon and with 2- 5 mints walking there are 4 to 5 big shopping malls and nice restaurants Defiantly . Everything about Westin will be rated excellent. I have stayed at the hotel a couple of times and always pleased with the awesome service by the staff and people at the Westin. Westin is just 2 minutes away from one of the most exclusive shopping mall in KL. Food is definitely accessible everywhere and the city is always full of lights every night. Excellent service. Perfect location. Value for money. One of the most pleasant place to stay at in KL. Very hospitable and courteous staff. Special mention must be made of Hamzah at the check in counter who was most helpful and kind. The breakfast buffet is freshly made and a gigantic spread. The wifi system in the room is excellent. This is the second time within a year we stayed at the same hotel. We will come there again and will certainly recommend to our friends too. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the response to our requests through room service was fast and amazing. Front desk were very professional and clear in their communication, the lobby manager made an exception and allowed us to use the health club showers allthough we checked out 5 hours before that. Rooms were always clean and amenities were always available. We were here for 3 days and we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The young man at reception (didn't get his name unfortunately) was really friendly and welcoming and gave a good first impression of the hotel. John at concierge was also very helpful with arrangements we needed. Will surely stay here again. We went their for two nights with our 10 months old daughter and asked an extra bed for my brother for a night. Everything went so smoothly. Surprisingly kids friendly and they have great breakfast. Amazing view of the Petronas towers from my room. Would definitely go back on our next trip to KL. Enjoyed their in-room and spa treatments as well. The staff were just fabulous warm and extremely helpful especially Amanda in check in and Mandy the reservation manager who assisted us with an early checkin after a long haul flight and a migraine so very appreciated the room was beautifully appointed and the beds Super comfortable. +Location is at premium. Just cross the street and you're in the Pavillion mall. A great mall in a busy and lively area. +Their heavenly bed. Breakfast was the best part, and a real highlight of our entire stay in KL, from the food selection, to the service from the staff and Maitre D' nothing was overlooked. We upgraded to a twin tower view and it was spectacular. Pool was very quite so almost had it to ourselves. Staff were extremely attentive and did everything they could to help and welcome you to the hotel. Please don’t take taxi from front of the hotel as they are really expensive (Blue Taxi) The internet is not free in the room but it is free in the coffee shop and restaurant. Nothing at all. One of the few hotels that I stayed in with nothing to complain about. Though everything was generally good, my husband did have an unpleasant experience at breakfast when the food that was originally being prepared for him (and he had been told that it was his)was given over to a caucasian person when he came back to pick it up. He was then told that he had to wait his turn and made to feel as if he was being impatient. It was really unnecessary behaviour on the part of the cook preparing the waffles. -There is no water sprinkler. We muslims use it to clean ourselves after using the bathroom. The ritz have it, even Dorsett do! -Breakfast is only for one person for a $500+ myr per night stay! -No free internet connection in the rooms & they charge a ridicilously high amount for it. The faucet for the bathroom basin wasn't long enough to wash my hands under without spilling water over the back of the basin, and the crab salad we ordered on room service wasn't really described accurately in the menu, everything else was excellent!. Bar in hotel wasn't the best or easiest to find. Nothing. the fact that it doesn't have a free internet access in the room. N/A. No free internet. If they could be different from the rest of the hotels by allowing queen beds with connecting rooms. the lifts were very slow. Rude receptionist who put me in the wrong room type. Once a long time black out. Its important for the front liners especially the door man to be friendlier to the guest. water leaks from shower cubicle, wetting the bathroom floor. toilet that did not flush when I first checked in. slow Internet speed and inconsistent service quality. nothing. Late night menu has a limited option . It should have a few more options like there neighboring hotels ( J W Marriott and Ritz Carlton ). The hand shower in the shower cabin was leaking very badly. also on 22.6.2013 morning we were getting only very boiling water. really annoyed with this. The breakfast was nothing to crow about. While the selection was acceptable, the food was somewhat disappointing. Some were not overcooked and not fresh. There were some baby cockroaches in the bedroom. The table light did not worked and the technical crew took 20 minutes to appear. If you expect complementary wifi, you will be in for a disappointment. This 5 star hotel can't offered it but cheaper budget could. Wondering that this is 5* hotel and the Internet in the room chargeble. Did not have a hairdresser or spa. Had to have spa treatments in room - not good for a five star hotel. Rubbish breakfast. Dirty bath robes and towels in room. Bathroom grubby. Noisy hotel. comfort restaurants room service fitness + changing room poor quality cigars at the Cigarbar pool very average english of the staff. Staff attitude.
